Calendar of Upcoming Events in the Area

The Valley County Pioneer Museum hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Fort Peck Interpretive Center will be open four days over each weekend in September: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The last day of regular open business hours will be Sept. 26. Through the winter, people can coordinate with staff to visit weekdays by prior appointment only. Call the Interpretive Center at 406-526-3493.

Wednesday, Sept. 21

5 – 8 p.m. - Alive at Five at United Insurance and Realty 504 2nd Ave. S. Music by Sideways, food available for purchase by Somadis, drinks will also be available for purchase. Come out for the final round of the Hot Dog eating contest!

Thursday, Sept. 22

8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Coffee and donuts at Nemont Manor.

5:30 p.m. - Edward Jones Open House – Plains Plaza right off of Highway 2, 317 Klein Ave. Glasgow. Come out for a chalk block party and Dan’s Chuckwagon as well as ice cream from Jump-N-Buck.

6 – 8 p.m. - Reimaging Rural session at the Cottonwood Inn and Suites. This gathering is for those who have a desire for a vibrant future for Montana’s rural communities. Reimagining Rural brings people together who are eager to learn, connect, and lead change and who want to create vibrant, robust rural places.

6:30 p.m. - Valley County Farm Bureau annual meeting at the Cottonwood Inn. Come join us for a delicious meal and learn more about what our local Farm Bureau has been up to and how you can join us.

Friday, Sept. 23

1 p.m. - Crafty Afternoon at Nemont Manor – All are welcome.

5 – 7 p.m. - VFW Steak Fry at the Glasgow VFW. Marco Boeing is sponsoring with all proceeds going to the scholarship fund.

5-8 p.m. - Annual Wild Bunch Art Show at the Cottonwood Inn and Suites.

Saturday, Sept. 24

9 a.m. - 5 p.m. - Mental Health First Aid Training at the Glasgow Evangelical Church. Become certified in Mental Health First Aid for free!

10 a.m. - 8 p.m. - Annual Wild Bunch Art Show at the Cottonwood Inn and Suites.

Tuesday, Sept. 27

1 p.m. - Bingo at the Glasgow Senior Citizens Center.

5:30 p.m. - Free Community Program Medicare 101 at the Glasgow Senior Center. Soup supper will be provided. Call Lisa Baxter 406-228-9751 to reserve your seat by Friday, Sept. 23.

Wednesday, Sept. 28

11:30 a.m. - Senior Luncheon Soup and Sandwiches at Nemont Manor. All seniors welcome.

Friday, Sept. 30

1 p.m. - Cards and Cribbage at Nemont Manor – All are welcome.

6 p.m. - Darvin Henry’s Retirement Party at the Glasgow Elks Lodge.
