Calendar Of Upcoming Events In The Area

 


EDITOR’S NOTE: Deadline for calendar additions is Mondays at noon. Please email your event to [email protected] or submit in person at the Courier office, 531 2nd Ave. S., Glasgow.

The Valley County Pioneer Museum hours through September are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fort Peck Interpretive Center will be open Friday through Monday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. through September 5. They will also have weekend activities for youth. Call 406-526-3493, for more information, or see their Facebook page – USACEFortPeck.

Dime Bingo at the Glasgow Senior Citizen Center each Tuesday at 1 p.m. and Saturday at 7 p.m. weekly.

The Congregate meals usually served at the Glasgow Senior Center will be moved to the Cottonwood for the month of July due to staff vacation. Meals will still be served Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with a recommended donation of $6. Call the Senior Center, 406-228-9500 with any questions.

Wednesday, July 13

1-4 p.m. - Veteran Service Officers will be at the Glasgow VA Clinic. Please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214).

2 p.m. - The Lego Guy at the Glasgow City-County Library

Thursday, July 14

6 p.m. - Auxiliary regular meeting at the VFW followed by the VFW Post 3107 meeting at 7 p.m.

All veterans interested in joining and members are welcome to attend.

1 – 2:30 p.m. - QPR Training at Glasgow Elks Lodge.

10 a.m. - Ocean of Possibilities Summer Reading Party for all ages at the Glasgow City-County Library. All prizes for ages zero to 12 will be distributed at that time.

Noon – 3 p.m. - Valley Community Food Bank, located at 1020 1st Ave N., Glasgow, is open the third Tuesday of each month. For more info., contact Brenda Tarum 406-367-5100.

Wednesday, July 20

Noon – Ocean of Possibilities TEEN Summer Reading Party at the Glasgow City-County Library. All bingo tickets must be turned in prior to this time.
