Glasgow Stockyards Market Report

The market report for the Glasgow Stockyards as of June 30, show 700 cattle sold during the last sale of June 2022. Cows were steady to a bit softer than the sale of June 23. Utility and commercial cows brought in $82 to $90.25; canner and cutter cows $72 to $82; young feeding/turnout type cows $90 to $131 and bulls $95 to $120. There was no test on feeders or pairs.

Thursday, July 7 is the Dry Cow Special and All Class Cattle Auction. This a big sale, looking like 1,000 weigh-up cows and bulls and 11 two and three-year-old black cow/calf pairs with more pairs pending.

There will be no auction on Thursday, July 14. The Northern Video Auction will be Monday July 18 through Wednesday, July 20.

Thursday, July 21, is the All-Class Cattle Auction with no auction on Thursday, July 28.
