The Hinsdale girls track team earned 10th place with 11 points at the Whitewater/Saco Invitational Saturday in Glasgow. The Raider boys earned half a point for 13th place.
Zora Holt, Mattea McColly and Cienna Strommen earned points for the Raider girls while Coy Bowman scored for the Hinsdale boys.
Holt took sixth in the 3200 meters, running the race in 13:20.30, a personal best. She placed eighth in both the 1600 meters and 800 meters with times of 6:37.37 and 3:12.33, a personal best, respectively.
McColly earned points with a third place finish in the discus. She threw 93-10, a personal best. She took 14th in shot put with a 27-09.00 throw and 17th in javelin with a season record 68-11 throw. McColly also set a season record in the 100 meters with a 15.27 20th place finish.
Strommen took fourth in the girls' pole vault, clearing 6-06.00, a season record. She placed 16th in the discus with a personal record throw of 61-04. Strommen took 24th in javelin with a 62-03 throw.
Ashton Smith 31st in discus with a 21-11 throw. She took 32nd in shot put with a personal record 10-02.00 toss and 34th in javelin with a 17-03 distance.
Bowman's half-point came from a tie for sixth place in boys' high jump. He cleared a personal best 5-00.00. He took 19th in triple jump with a personal best leap of 31-04.25. Bowman placed 34th in the long jump at 14-03.50. He threw 71-11 in javelin for 48th place. He also took 46th in the 100 meters with a time of 14.15.
Taylor Mogan set a personal record in the javelin at 93-08 and took 29th place. He took 40th in the long jump at 13-03.50. Mogan came in 54th in the 100 meters with a personal best time of 15.02.
Hinsdale will attend the Wolf Point Invitational Friday, May 6, and host the Gene Dreikosen Hinsdale Meet on Saturday, May 7, with events starting at 9:30 a.m. on Scottie Field in Glasgow.
