Hinsdale Track

Hinsdale attended the Whitewater Invitational April 21 where the girls team took fifth place with 22 points. Zora Holt, Mattea McColly and Cienna Strommen score points for the Raiders.

Holt claimed second in the 3200 meter run with a season record time of 14:44.25. She placed fifth in the 1600 meters after running the race in 7:38.48. Holt also ran the 300m hurdles, taking eighth place with a time of 1:28.56.

McColly took fourth in the discus with a season record throw of 82-05 and fifth in the shot put with a personal best toss of 29-02.00. She set a season record and finished 14th in the 100 meters with a time of 16.16 seconds.

Strommen claimed third in the pole fault after clearing 5-06.00. She also placed 14th in the discus with a personal best throw of 61-03 and 25th in the javelin with a distance of 60-03.

Ashton Smith set a personal record in the discus and finished in 20th place with a throw of 24-02. She set another personal record in the javelin with a throw of 18-07 and took 30th place. She placed 23rd in shot put with a throw of 7-11.00.

On the boys’ side, Coy Bowman led the Raiders in the 100 meters with a personal record of 14.13 and a 24th place finish. Aaron Miller took 26th with his time of 14.30 and Taylor Mogan set a personal record of 15.46 and finished in 31st place.

Miller set a personal record in the 200 meters at 29.59 and took 11th place. Austin Miller ran the 400 meters in 1:14.38 for eighth place and the 800 meters in 2:51.83 for seventh place.

Bowman also led the Hinsdale boys in the javelin with a personal record throw of 79-00 and 21st place. Mogan, also with a personal record, finished in 25th with a throw of 73-08.

Bowman cleared 4-06.00 in the high jump, a personal best, and finished in 10th place. In the long jump, he set another personal record at 15-03.00 and took 2th place. Aaron Miller, Mogan and Austin Miller all also set personal records in the long jump. Aaron Miller and Mogan tied for 27th place with jumps of 14-03.00 while Austin Miller took 35th with a distance of 11-00.50.

Bowman took 12th in the triple jump and set a personal record with a leap of 27-08.00.

The Raiders will be in Glasgow for the Whitewater/Saco Invitational Saturday, April 30, with events beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, the annual Top Ten meet will be in Glasgow scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
