Highlanders Represent at AAU National Duals

Seven Glasgow Highlanders represented Montana at three AAU wrestling tournaments in West Des Moines, Iowa April 9 and 10.

Kyler Hallock and Devon Nesbitt represented Montana at the AAU Jr/Sr Twin Rivers Duals with Hallock on team Montana Maroon and Nesbitt wrestling for Montana Silver. Shalynn Pedersen hit the mats for Iowa's All Stars at the Twin Rivers High School Girls Duals.

Michael King grappled for Montana Maroon at the AAU Fresh-Soph National Duals. Will Kirkland, Khye Gamas and Ethan Engstrom attended the Lee Pamulak MS National Duals. Kirkland and Gamas wrestled for Montana Maroon while Engstrom was on the Montana Silver team.

Hallock and Gamas brought home medals from their tournaments for their performances. Hallock, who went 7-1, was named Silver All-American. Gamas' 5-3 record earned him Bronze All-American.

Nesbitt and Pedersen each brought home 2-6 records while King went 3-5. Engstrom turned in a 3-5 record while Kirkland stood at 2-6 after the two days.
