Glasgow Stockyards' Market Report

The market report for the Glasgow Stockyards as of April 7 show 423 cattle with cows and bulls steady on light test. Utility and commercial cows brought in $75 to $88. Canner and cutter cows brought in $62 to $75 and bulls brought in $92 to $104.

Bowles 75 Red Angus Production Auction was held by Jim, Julie, Brady and Tracy Bowles and family, of Chinook. A total of 35 bulls were sold with an average of $3,464. The top bull sold for $5,000 and the top five averaged $5,000. The volume buyer was Lewis McGill, of Powderville, Mont., with four.

Thursday, April 21, is the Big Dry Angus Production Auction, Replacement Heifers, Feeder Cattle and All Class Cattle Auction.

Thursday, April 28 is the North Country Angus and Anderson Charolais Bull Production Auctions and All Class Cattle Auction followed by the Nelson Simmental & Simmental/Angus Composite Bull Production Auction and All Class Cattle Auction on Thursday, May 5.
