There were 23 motor vehicle stops, two reports of loose livestock and one report of a loose cat.

Thursday, Feb. 17

1605 – A female called in requesting a welfare check on a male subject who recently broke his leg and had surgery. She states he is not answering his door or his phone. She also stated he has been depressed. An officer arrived to residence and found the back door unlocked however did not find the subject.

1657 – A male called wanting to speak with a deputy. He caught an individual trying to steal gravel from his private property and now the person is on another property.

2116 – An unknown woman reported that an intoxicated male is walking to Wolf Point from Frazer. She said he is about one mile out of Frazer and in the road. At 2121 an officer advised the male is currently in Frazer and believes the female who called was who the male had got into a verbal altercation with earlier in the evening.

Friday, Feb. 18

0237 – An officer advised he is going to do a walking escort with two males in the vehicle to get them to a sober person about four blocks away. At 0239, the officer advised he is at the intersection and one male fell pretty hard in his own driveway. At 0243, the officer reported he dropped off both males in the care of the female at the residence.

0747 – An officer advised he would be out at the location for a citizen assist.

1325 – Expired tags as of 5/21 were on a rear plate. The registration was confirmed however a warning was issued for failing to affix the sticker to the rear plate.

1356 – Fish Wildlife and Parks called in requesting assistance for a deer with a broken back. The location of the deer was provided.

1855 – A female called stating she passed a male subject who may have been trying to flag her down for assistance, but she wasn’t sure.

2219 – An officer advised a semi is unoccupied however there are chain tracks in the snow, so it’s unsure if there was a mechanical issue or what. The plate is also very rock chipped so it was difficult to read it.

Saturday, Feb. 19

1006 – A male called in reporting a car appears to have hit the back of the shopping center. He is unsure of the damage. Efforts were made to attempt to locate the owner for the building.

1238 – An officer stated he will be checking on the car who hit the back of the shopping center. The car was being located onto a trailer and will be located at a storage area. At 1236, the officer spoke to the registered owner and he admitted to being the driver and having no insurance.

1308 – An off-duty officer called to report an erratic driving of a GMC at the Milk River Bridge. The vehicle, while talking to the calling party, did not show bad driving habits so the call was disconnected as the caller stated they just passed the traffic stop that another officer is currently on. At 1313, the reporting party called again stating the vehicle is now crossing the dam going into McCone County and has crossed the center line multiple times when it has slowed down. A description of the vehicle was provided. At 1315, McCone County dispatch was also provided the information.

1335 – A male called in to advise an older model Dodge pickup truck came out of park and rolled down the street, running into the back of his pick-up truck. An officer arrived who advised the registered owner’s grandmother stated the truck has been sitting there for a month but the registered owner doesn’t live there. Paperwork was completed on the accident.

1522 – A male called to report someone trespassing on his property and provided a plate number. At 1519 he called back wanting to know if the plate came back to a certain individual. Dispatch ran the plate and provided the information. The caller advised to cancel the call as permission was given to be there.

1859 – A male called stating there is a dark colored truck that is completely blocking the fire hydrant. AN officer arrived, walked around and could not find anything that fit the violation.

1942 – A female called in stating there is a male parked at a weird angle on the overpass by the intersection in Nashua. She asked him if he was okay and he stated he was using his cell phone, backed up to where he is on the overpass now with his reverse lights still on. An officer arrived and advised she cleared the overpass.

Sunday, Feb. 20

0011 – A female called in to report a door open and the lights on at a business.

0100 – A female called in to report a fire a the Frazer dump ground. She sated she called Wolf Point first and they advised her to call Valley County. It was determined to be a brush fire just south of the Main Dump.

0301- An officer reported a vehicle was driving erratically and ran into a dumpster. Two men jumped out out of the car and ran into a residence.
