Wonderful Christmas Music

Adventures in St. Marie

Wow!

What a wonderful Christmas musical at Irle Elementary school on Thursday, as the third grade class put on an extravaganza show that even Broadway would envy!

Directed by Ms. Christine Gilchrist with a cast of 40 third graders, these kids sang, danced and acted out their parts to perfection. Way to go Ms. Gilchrist and the members of the show.

'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....' up in St. Marie.

We took a drive around the area and though it lacks the population of Glasgow, Saint Marie residents are giving it a great show on Christmas decorations and lights.

Over on Cedar Circle it is really lit up with beautiful lights.

As you take the proverbial tour at Christmas light lookin', some of the folks really went all out for the kids from ages 1 to 150.

Although there are so many beautiful displays our favorite is over on Julia Maxine street at the home of Ken and Myrna Kautz. What a lovely light show they have. Marv Bethea also did a wonderful job.

Some of the residents even went to the extreme of doing their back yards in decorations. Really very pretty. Thanks goes out to all of the Saint Marie residents who did a wonderful job.

Hey, there is royalty over in Albertson's market.

We saw two King's there. Terry King and Jake King, not to be confused with "Jake" from State Farm. I asked Jake what he wanted for Christmas and he was not sure as of yet. Both King's were busier than bees in a bottle!

With that said, here is a Christmas wish list from some of the people out and about in the areas. Lovely Kayla Meyers, over at Flip Berger's went the Miss America route wishing for "World Peace" and good will.

Kayla's daughter, Kara Gilbreath, had not made a list as of yet, but we are sure she will.

Steven Lazar, wanted some hunting equipment, Diane Moore way over in Luster, Montana went the world peace route, as well, and we certainly agree with that one! Maylou Remington did not answer verbally, but displayed a photo of a very handsome, muscular man on her FB page.

Meanwhile, in Hawaii, our dear friend, Senator Sam Slom wants "World peace and good will" also. Good on you, Sam!

Hating to put a damper on the cheery Christmas news, we do have to give condolences to some from Saint Marie.

Clayton L Corey passed away November 17th. We did not know Clayton personally but such nice things have been said about this man. Condolences go out to his sweet wife Bonnie and family and friends.

On November 20th, Jesse James Bryce Dodge passed away in an automobile accident.

We met Jesse's mother Kristy Ayers-Saunders who is understandably going through a stressful time. Jesse was only 19 years old and we send our heart felt condolences to his family and friends.

We want to wish each and everyone a Very Merry Christmas!
