Glasgow Leaves Warm Feeling

Dear Editor,

Dear City of Glasgow Police Department

Attn: Chief of Police

On the cold and snowy sub-zero Monday of Jan. 13, I had an appointment with the Motor Vehicle Department to renew my driver's license at 2:20 p.m.

After completing the procedure with the very nice and professional technician Angela France, my car, parked on the street outside the office, wouldn't move forward very good and backward some.

Teasing it through town and out on the highway to Jordan, moving so slow and awkward, a nice gentleman noticed the car and helped me get it turned around back towards town. Then we called the City Police. A very helpful and considerate officer came right out to assist.

We were to get my car to the TireRama a few yards in town. I parked the car in front of the shop. The officer went to see if they [could] help and got me set up on the garage holster right away. The TireRama Stuart Frost was efficient and professional. He knew right away my right-rear brake was frozen to the wheel causing the wheel to skid through the snow. Only a half hour later he had me on the road headed back to Jordan.

Friendly, helpful, the whole town of Glasgow left a warm feeling in my heart.

Sincerely,

Karla Christensen

Jordan, Mont.
