For December, the Valley County Pioneer Museum is open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. The Museum will be closed the month of January.


9 a.m. - 2 p.m. - First Community Bank Hinsdale Christmas Open House, 203 Montana St. Hinsdale

10 a.m. - 3 p.m. - LPL Financial Holiday Open House at Gary Wageman’s Office, 519 2nd Ave. S.

5 -6 p.m. - Bell Mortuary Christmas Open House at the mortuary, 701 2nd Ave. S, Glasgow.

5-9 p.m. - Raise the Roof Fundraiser for the Glasgow Calvary Baptist Church at the VFW, 1222 US Hwy 2, Glasgow.

6 p.m. - Bell Mortuary Remembrance Service at the mortuary.

6-8 p.m. - Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Annual Nativities’ Display Open House, 15 Airport Road.


7 a.m. - 5 p.m. - The Glasgow Soroptimists Annual Block of Bucks Collection Day. Donations will be collected at the corners of D&G and the U.S. Post Office.

9 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Bank of Glasgow Open House, 110 6th Street S.

9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. - First Community Bank Glasgow Christmas Open House, 540 2nd Ave S.

5:30 – 7:30 p.m. - Wheatgrass Arts and Gallery Artist of the Month Reception featuring Jake Dix at the Gallery, 523 2nd Ave. S.

6-8 p.m. - Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Annual Nativities’ Display Open House, 15 Airport Road.

7 p.m. - Warm-Up Whist Tournament at the Montana Bar.


7-10 a.m. - Valley County Senior Citizens serve breakfast, featuring homemade regular and sourdough pancakes, sausage and eggs to order the first Saturday of every month. Cost is $5 per person or $7.50 for those with big appetites.

8 a.m. - 11 a.m. - The Children’s Christmas Store sponsored by Milk River, Inc. at the Milk River Activity Center, 219 2nd Ave S.

9 a.m. - Noon – First Lutheran Church Holiday and Scandinavian Bake Sale at the Church, 641 2nd Ave N, Glasgow.

9 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Council on Aging Flea Market at the Glasgow Senior Center, 328 4th Street S., Glasgow.

Noon – Santa Claus arrives in Glasgow.

12:15 p.m. - Santa visits Prairie Ridge Village.

12:30 p.m. - Santa visits Valley Cinema and downtown.

1 p.m. - International Whist Tournament at the Elks Club.

1 – 2:30 p.m. - Free Matinee of Arthur Christmas at Valley Cinemas.

2 p.m. - Middle of Nowhere Polar Plunge at the Glasgow Civic Center.

2:30 – 5 p.m. - Hay Rides downtown – weather dependent

3:30 – 4:50 p.m. - Santa visits Jennifer Ray’s Photography Studio, 233 4th St. S., Glasgow.

5 p.m. - Tree Lighting at Markle’s parking lot.

6 p.m. - Parade of Lights – Parade lineup starts behind FMDH and will go down 1st Ave. S., 2nd Ave. S., and in front of Prairie Ridge and back to FMDH.

7 p.m. - Bingo at the Valley County Senior Citizens, 328 4th Street S., Glasgow. 25 cents a card or 5 for $1. No one under 18 is allowed. For more info., call 228-9500 and ask for David or Diane.


10 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Roller Skating at the Nashua Civic Center every Sunday through March. Cost is $1.50 per skater and everyone is welcome. Skates will be provided or bring your own.

11 a.m. - International Whist Tournament at the Elks Club.

12:15 p.m. - Northern Lights 4H Club Community Christmas Party in the basement of the Opheim Community Church.

1 p.m. - American Legion Post 41 and Auxiliary Annual Christmas Party at the VFW in Glasgow. Santa will be visiting.


12:45 p.m. - Nickel Bingo at the Glasgow Senior Center, 328 4th Street S., Glasgow.

6 p.m. - Nashua School Board Meeting in the Nashua School library.

6 p.m. - Valley County Airport Commission meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Airport.


Noon – Christmas Carols by the Glasgow Kiwanis accompanied by Jennifer Fewer at Valley View Home.

Noon – Opheim Senior Holiday Luncheon at Opheim School.

1-3 p.m. - Richard Kingsley’s Retirement Celebration at Bank of Glasgow, 110 6th Street S.


5:30 p.m. - Nashua School K-6 Christmas Program at Nashua School.

7 p.m. - Lustre Christian High School and Lustre Grade School Christmas Concert at Lustre Grade School.

7 p.m. - Fifth-grade through 12th grade Christmas program at Nashua School.
