Kelly Fuhrman, 67, died from natural causes on Friday, July 6, 2018.
An informal gathering is planned at Bell Mortuary Thursday, July 12, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Born to Gloria and Melvin Fuhrman on Jan. 16, 1951, he grew up near Nashua, Mont., and attended school there until the seventh grade when his family moved to Glasgow, Mont.
Upon high school graduation, he attended college at Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., and finished his education at Montana State University in Bozeman, Mont. Sailing was Kelly's passion and he spent many years sailing in the U.S. Virgin Islands and at Fort Peck Lake. He was a voracious reader, a knowledge-seeker and a gifted handyman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Fuhrman, of Glasgow; and his sister-in-law, Ardis Parke Fuhrman, of Fargo, N.D.
He is survived by his mother, Gloria (Bob) Schlieve, of Billings, Mont .; significant other, Peggie Fleming, of Nashua, Mont .; one sister, Donna (Jerome) Garsjo, of Billings, Mont .; two brothers, Dennis Fuhrman, of Sarasota, Fla., and Bart (Karen) Fuhrman, of Healdsburg, Calif .; nieces and nephews, Jill (Doug) Fargo, of Grand Island, Neb., Renee Janhunen, of Billings, Scott (Kristin) Garsjo, of Billings, Julie (Kelly) Hornby, of Billings, Brad (Donna) Fuhrman, of Durango, Colo., Dacia (Robert) Gonzales, of Houston, Texas, Brett (Karen) Fuhrman, of Asheville, N.C., Trevor (Lauren) Fuhrman, of Denver, Colo., and Cassie Arnold, of Cloquette, Minn .; and 17 grandnieces and grandnephews.
