Sixty-six students from across Valley County participated in the 2018 Valley County Spelling Bee which took place at the American Legion Hall in Hinsdale on Monday, Feb. 12. Iris McKean (right) of Glasgow was the overall winner and received $25 in Chamber Big Bucks donated by KLTZ/KLAN.  Roman Fast of Glasgow (center) was the runner-up and received a dictionary donated by the Glasgow Courier. Coy Bowman of Hinsdale (left) was second runner-up.
