Donald Eugene Cobb

Donald Eugene Cobb joined our Lord and Savior Monday morning, Sept. 25, 2017, at the University of Washington Medical Center at the age of 71 years.

He was born on April 13, 1946, to Pauline and Richard Cobb, in Billings, Mont. As a child, his family moved to Glasgow, where he was raised and graduated from Glasgow High School in 1964. He attended the College of Great Falls, worked at Stanford University in the computer programming department and served in the Air National Guard out of Montana for a short time before moving to Kennewick, Wash., in 1978; where his twin brother lived.

He met his wife, Tamara, in 1981, and they were married in 1984. After multiple jobs in furniture sales, he opened his own business, Cross Rivers Interiors, in 1991 in Fabulous Downtown Pasco.

He was a loving husband to his wife, Tamara; father to seven children, and grandfather to eight grandchildren.

During his 40 years in the Tri-cities, he was active in many community events, in the Lutheran faith community and a member at Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a twin brother, Darrel Cobb; and a sister, Paula Jo Bagley.

Survivors include his wife, Tamara; seven children, Whitney Cobb, Courtney Hansen and her husband, Beau, Remington Cobb and his wife, Rachel, Sydney Cobb, Tristen Cobb, Elexys Cobb and Ashton Cobb; eight grandchildren, Logan, Payson, Maryjane, Paisley, Molly, Blakely, Bennett and Madeline; two sisters, Patti Armstrong and Dixie Hromcik and her husband, Joe; a younger brother, Dan Cobb and his wife, Joanne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were held Friday, Oct. 6, with a graveside service at Pasco City View Cemetery at 3 p.m., followed by a memorial service at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 4:30 p.m., with reception to follow.

Don will be dearly missed and remembered by his many friends and family.
