Pioneer Museum Resumes Summer Schedule

Scottie pride from the past is on full display at the Valley County Pioneer Museum, located on Hwy 2 in Glasgow.

The Pioneer Museum will be resuming their summer schedule on Monday, May 1.

Museum staff is in spring cleaning mode at the facility this week in preparation for the additional traffic that is expected to come with the extended hours. The crew also welcomes those generous enough to donate their time and they are encouraged to come this Saturday as they plan to clean some of the larger exhibits and move things around.

The museum's new addition is also anticipated to be open on a limited basis. The additions is yet to be completed in full but some of the exhibits within are ready to be displayed.

The Pioneer Museum's Summer Hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The museum is located at 54109 US Highway 2 in Glasgow. For more information about the museum, visit their website valleycountymuseum.com or call 406-228-8692.
