THURSDAY – MAY 14

Deadline to register for FMDH and Billings Clinic LifeStyle Balance Telehealth program on June 3 for the prevention and treatment of diabetes using telehealth technology by contaqcting Mary Christianson or Julie Lawson at 228-3500. Cost is $50.

1 p.m. - Malta Irrigation District's regular monthly Board Meeting. Call 654-1440 for more info.

3 p.m. - The Valley County Transit Board will meet at the Valley County Transit office (use the back door/east entrance).

SATURDAY – MAY 16

4 p.m. - Doors open and live music at 5 p.m. for 10th Annual Bonnie City Blues & Brews at the Cottonwood Inn in Glasgow. Featured are Gladys and the Undertakers, The Wench, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades. There will be micro brews, food, exclusive mugs, merchandise, raffles and wine available. 2 p.m. - Whist and Pinochle at Glasgow Senior Center first and third Sundays.

MONDAY – MAY 18

7 p.m. - The 7th & 8th grade Spring Music Concert will be held in the GHS auditorium, featuring the concert choir and concert band.

7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. An Addictions Workshop will be held at FMDH in Glasgow. The presenter for the workshop will be Malcolm Horn, master addictions counselor and director of learning at Rimrock Foundation in Billings. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. in the FMDH Conference Room. Eight CEUs are available for LCSWA and LAC, but no CEUs are available for nurses unless their primary field is addictions. Cost is $15. WEDNESDAY – MAY 20

1-4 p.m. - Service officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be at the Glasgow VA Clinic and in Malta on Thursday, May 21, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., at the Phillips County Hospital Conference Room. If you are interested in applying for benefits, please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214) with you. Service officers will visit nursing homes and assisted living centers by appointment only. Call 406-265-4225 if you are interested.
