Reynolds Awards Donations to Area Causes

January 31, 2018

Reynolds Market in Glasgow recently awarded its first Friends of Reynolds (FOR) donations to participating non-profit groups since the program’s inception last fall. Hi-Line Sportsmen Club, the Evangelical Church, Hi-Line Youth Hockey and the Fort Peck Fine Arts Council were some of the first area non-profit groups to sign-up for the program, and over the past quarter, Reynolds has added up a percentage of the total purchases made by the members of these organizations and community members in support of these organizations.

Any non-profit group can participate in the FOR program in order to obtain funds for their cause. To take part in this program, a representative from the group can pick up an information pamphlet from the store to ensure they qualify, and fill out the application form online at ReynoldsMarket.com/friends-of-reynolds. Once the application is approved, Reynolds will provide the number of shopping membership cards designated on the application to the non-profit group.

Members of the organization can then share the account number with community members, who then provide the number with any cashier prior to checkout and a percentage of the total will be donated to that organization at the end of each quarter. If the amount of purchases per quarter by the non-profit members is between $0-$25,000, Reynolds will donate one percent back (up to $250). If the range of purchases is $25,001-$45,000, Reynolds will donate two percent back (up to $900). If the amount sold is $45,001 or above, Reynolds will donate three percent (maximum of $1,950).

Between the five Reynolds Market stores, Sidney, Glendive, Miles City, Baker and Glasgow, a total of $5,276 was donated back to non-profit organizations.
