Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913

VC Deputy Brandt Graduates From MLEA

Sixty-one new officers who will serve in 36 agencies across the state graduated March 26 from the Montana Law Enforcement Academy (MLEA) within the Montana Department of Justice. One of those students was Valley County Sheriff's Deputy Andrew Brandt. "The Valley County Sheriff's Office is proud to have you on our team," stated the Sheriff's Office in a press release.

MLEA provides basic and advanced training for state, county, city, and tribal law enforcement officers throughout the state.

Attorney General Austin Knudsen was in attendance to congratulate and address the graduates.

"I'm confident that today's graduates are ready to face the challenges ahead of them as they begin their careers in law enforcement and I'm proud of what they have already accomplished," Attorney General Knudsen said. "They will be on the front lines protecting our communities and I'm sure they will do so with integrity and courage."
