Remember when Glasgow had businesses that did tailoring?

Friedl’s Mens Wear comes to mind. It seems that the art of tailoring is rather a thing of the past, but that was a customer service at Friedl’s.

You men will have to correct me if I am wrong, but I think when men of the area purchased a suit there it could be tailored to fit you. Not only were the pants shortened if needed, but sleeves could also be shortened or lengthened if excess fabric allowed. Maybe a side seam or two could be taken in or let out, darts added, any of those little tailor secrets that took away from the store...
