The Valley Event Center was filled with ice skaters of all ages to ring in 2025 on Dec. 31. The community skate party, which thanks to Wagging Wheel Pet Boarding the first 100 skaters received free admission, allowed individuals of all skating levels to hit the ice, skate with friends and enjoy a mix of dance and skating music. Those who stayed until all night celebrated the ball drop starting in New York City and ending in Montana once the clock struck midnight.
The skate party started with free skate, allowing those who needed to, to get adjusted to being on the ice and on ice skates. Then the night transitioned to ice skating games and then fun filled activities on the ice. For those who wanted to take a break from skating or who felt less confident with their skating abilities, played board games and enjoyed concessions.
