Joseph Garcia To Speak At Interpretive Center

Local paleontologist Joseph Garcia will speak at the Fort Peck Interpretive Center on Saturday, July 6, at 1 p.m., then be available through the afternoon for questions. Garcia has a master's degree in paleontology and art. He teaches art at Nashua High School but has worked in the area for many years, including helping to prepare casts of Pecks Rex on display at the Fort Peck Interpretive Center. As a paleontologist, Garcia gets more excited about the environment surrounding the dinosaurs than the dinosaur fossils themselves.

Come join us to learn what is still buried in the many geologic layers you see along our highways.

For more information, call the Fort Peck Interpretive Center at 406-526-3493.
