Fire Departments Respond To Blaze In Glasgow

The Glasgow Fire Department and Valley County Long Run Fire Department received a call at 1 a.m. on April 18 about a vacant building on fire on Glasgow’s south side.

According to Glasgow Fire Chief, Brandon Brunelle the vacant building was fully engulfed in flames when the departments arrived at the location. The vacant building was located west of Markle’s Warehouse Furniture and Appliance in Glasgow.

Three fire engines and a command vehicle responded to the fire along with FMDH Ambulance, Glasgow Police Department and Valley County Sheriff’s Office. The fire is still under investigation and the cause is unknown. The firefighters completed their work at 5:30am.

According to Montana Cadastral, the vacant building was owned by BNSF.
