Yesterday's Memories

Steve and LaMae Lacock were working on a Latin America Child Care school in Wiwilli, Nicaragua, during their daughter Bethany's Class C State Basketball Tournament in Belgrade from Feb. 28 to March 2. Thanks to the internet and KLAN streaming, they were able to hear the games as they occurred. The Lady Raiders lost twice to Twin Bridges during the tournament, but they also won a pair of games against St. Labre and Westby/Grenora on their way to a fourth-place finish. Bethany was named to the Class C All-State team shortly after the tournament.
