For the week of Feb. 27 through March 4, there were 13 motor vehicle stops, six reports of a loose dog, and one VIN inspection request.

Monday, Feb. 27

1313 – Reporting the highway has compacted snow. Information will be passed along to MDOT, but the caller was reminded the location is a secondary road for removal and the state usually gets to it once US Highway 2 is completed.

1510 – Reporting party call in about a GMC driving erratically. They could not get close to see the license and the complaint is not willing to sign a statement. Officers are out of position for the call and information is passed along to Phillips County.

1830 – Deputy advised she's out on a public assist call. There was a car versus deer accident.

Tuesday, Feb. 28

0745 – A public assist call was recorded. It was determined they were stopping to look at coyotes.

1040 – RCSO dispatch called to state they have a report of a missing person. Cellphone was left on the dash of the vehicle and the daughter is out with the vehicle. Daughter told RCSO they have been loking for him for two days now.

1511 – Female called stating a man's dog has been stolen out of his front yard. She said it was a blond female with someone else in the truck. She said they came and put the dog on a leash and left in a pick up truck. A description of the dog and person was provided. At 1505, dispatch called the brother of the owner. It was determined the dog was not stolen, his brother gave the dog to another couple.

1619 – PCSO dispatch called stating she received a 911 call from a woman wh otold her she has slid off the road. Her and her husband are not hurt and there is no damage to the vehicle. They do need assistance getting out. The caller didn't know exactly where they were, she remembered going thorough Saco but hadn't got to Hinsdale yet. At 1637, caller stated they were pulled out.

1851 – Caller reported a semi went off the road about 25 miles west of Glasgow along US 2 by MM 524. The semi is still standing upright and is out of the driving lane. There are no injuries. While on the phone with the reporting party, a 911 call came through that was the truck driver who stated the wind caught the semi and blew her off the road. The driver had already called Thompsons. Deputy was notified and so was Thompsons. At 2010, deputy advised both lanes at MM 525 were shut down.

1937 – Deputy requested DOT be notified there's a lot of snow drifts on US 2 around MM 532 to MM 531. Deputy advised it's bad all the way to MM 525. Glendive Office of DOT was called.

Wednesday, March 1

0127 – Officer is out with a male whose car is stuck in a snow drift. At 0146, it was advised the car is clear and requested a message be left with the county that the corner of the airport is snowed in. A voicemail was left for the County Road Department.

0159 – Officer requested the Street Department be contacted to plow before school starts. City Road advsied they will be out first thing in the morning.

0549 – MDOT stated there is a semi tractor trailer in the middle fof the street, and it has been there all night. He plowed around the truck. At 0832, MT DOT in Opheim called stating the rig is still parked there and it needs to be moved. At 0907, it was advise the truck driver moved the rig and is now out of the way.

0924 – Reporting party called stating MT Hwy 438 from the north is really bad. He just has made it down and he is not to US Hwy 2 yet. He thinks when his tracks blow in, people aren't going to be able to get through as he is barely making it now. MT DOT was notified.

1043 – Reporting party called stating one of the street clearing people hit her car then just left. She tracked him down and showed him where he hit the car. There are no injuries.

1051 – Deputy is out with a Bobcat stopped. He will be checking on the subject to make sure he is okay. It was advised the vehicle has died right there and there is another guy coming to help. At 1128, deputy advised they have the bobcat started and the roadway is now clear.

1257 – Reporting party called stating her water pipe burst on Sunday. She sent an email to the landlord who she pays her rent to. She said they didn't get the email until yesterday, they called a plumber who came out, shut her water off and told her they wouldn't be able to fix the pipe until spring. She is concerned about having no water for that long. She has bought the land, she would like to put some “goop” on it. She said it works for this kind of thing, she could put some on there and let it sit for a couple days, then turn the water back on. She wanted to know if that would be okay. Dispatch advised didn't know the answer and would have an officer call back.

Thursday, March 2

1558 – Caller reported that the North Nashua road is real slick. He wanted to know if DOT could be contacted to put some sand down.

1809 – A public assist call was recorded. A deputy is pushing a big sagebrush out of the road.

1939 – Caller reported they hit a deer on US 2 just above nashua. There are no injuries and the deer is off the road, it's unknown if the deer is dead. They're out of the driving lane and have flashers on. It was determined the deer is off the road and not a hazard. A message was left for DOT. There was a hit on one of the occupants out of Glendive Highway Patrol. A deputy was notified.

2252 – A reporting party called in an accident with no injuries.

Friday, March 3

1105 – A motor vehicle accident was reported. An ambulance was requested for the driver who states he is disorientated. Later, Fire Chief advised a secondary accident.

1142 – Reporting party called stating a pickup has been parked in their lot for a while now. The owner has been contacted several times to get it moved as it is in the way of them being able to plow their lot.

1256 – A recording call came in with the latitude and longitude stating there has been a severe crash involving the owner of the iPhone and they are not responding. At 1259, officer advised he got on scene and couldn't locate the accident. At 1306, officer called a male who advised his wife's phone was left on the hood of her car and she has lost her phone. Officer will look in the area to see if he can find it.

1703 – Caller reported two or three round hay bales fell off a truck and were in the road. A second person called reporting the same. According to a deputy, someone is en-route with a front end loader to move the bales off the highway.

1727 – Reporting party called to report he had footage of someone stealing razor blades and would like an officer to follow up.

1755 – Reporting party called to report a couple that were out of sorts. When dispatch asked if they were drunk, the caller said yes and requested an officer. At 2046, an officer reported they talked to the person behind the building and they stated there was no one there that was drunk.

Saturday, March 4

0032 – Female caller, wishing to remain anonymous, reporting an underage person drinking at a bar with her mother and sister.

1617 – Officer they spoke to a driver about stopping in a location and leaving the door open to eastbound traffic causing a hazard.
