The community answered the call for new and gently used stuffed animals during the annual Teddy Bear Toss on Feb. 2.
Organized by the Glasgow High School Student Council, a total of 244 stuffed animals were thrown on the home court between the girls and boys varsity basketball games against North Country.
According to Rod Karst, advisor for the student council, 50 of the stuffies will stay local and be donated to Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital, 30 will be donated to Phillips County Hospital and 164 will be donated to St. Vincent's Hospital, in Billings, for distribution to children having overnight hospital stays.
