Calendar of Upcoming Events in the Area

The Valley County Pioneer Museum is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday.

Nemont Manor has activities scheduled throughout the month for the entire community as well as the residents of Nemont Manor. If you would like a calendar, please contact 406-228-4306 or e-mail [email protected] and they will mail one to you. Events are also listed below.

Nashua Lions Roller Skating has started for the winter! Come have fun on Sundays from 1 to 3 p.m., each Sunday until March at the Nashua Civic Center. Cost is $ 2, which includes skate rental. Drinks and popcorn are $1 each.

Through the winter, people can coordinate with staff to visit weekdays at the Fort Peck Interpretive Center by prior appointment only. Call the Interpretive Center at 406-526-3493.

Wednesday, Feb. 8

1-4 p.m. - Veteran Service Officers will be at the Glasgow VA Clinic. Please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214).

6 p.m. - Glasgow School Board meeting in the School District Board Room, 229 7th Street N., Glasgow.

7 p.m. - VFW and Auxiliary will meet at the VFW. The VFW meets at 7 p.m., and the Auxiliary at 6 p.m. All members are encouraged to attend. Combat Veterans interested in joining the VFW are invited to participate.

Thursday, Feb. 9

1 p.m. - Card Games at Nemont Manor, including pitch, whist and pinnacle. All are welcome!

Friday, Feb. 10

Noon – Nashua Senior Citizens potluck followed by the Nashua Senior Citizens meeting.

Sunday, Feb. 12

1 p.m. - Game Day at the Nashua Senior Citizens. Please note this is a little earlier time. Cards and other games will be enjoyed with snacks.

Monday, Feb. 13

4:30 – 6:30 p.m. - Nashua Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Indian Taco Supper, 115 Mabel, Nashua.

5 p.m. - Regular Opheim School Board meeting at the Opheim School.

Tuesday, Feb. 14

12:30 p.m. - Happy Valentine’s Day / Single Awareness Day Snack Day. All are welcome.

6 – 10 p.m. - Share The Love: A Dinner/Dance Fundraiser For Milk River, Inc. at St. Raphael’s Gym. Cost is $50 per plate. Tickets available at Milk River Activity Center, Glasgow Chamber, KLTZ, BS Central and from Milk River Board members.

Wednesday, Feb. 15

9 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Blood Drive at the lower level conference room in Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital. Visit the website, http://www.redcrossblood.org, enter sponsor code fmdh to make an appointment.

11 a.m. - Chair Exercises at Nemont Manor exercise room downstairs. All are welcome!

Thursday, Feb. 16

1 – 3 p.m. - Blood Pressure Day in the Nemont Manor Lobby.
