Jax Braaten channeled Marty McFly, from Back to the Future, for the Glasgow Courier Halloween Costume Contest. The winners will be announced in next weeks, Nov. 9, issue as well as other photos that were taken that evening. Also don't forget to submit your entries for the Halloween contest that was in the Oct. 26 issue. Acceptance of entries have been extended to Monday, Nov. 7, at noon. You can drop off the entry at the office, mail it to 531 2nd Ave. S., Glasgow, or take a photo and e-mail it to [email protected].

The Glasgow City Council recognized those who got into the Halloween Spirit by selecting a Halloween Yard of The Week. The honor was given to Jerrett and Erin Braaten, of 903 4th Ave. N. They received $25 in Chamber Bucks, courtesy of the City Council, and will display the sign in their yard for the week. The Glasgow City Council will also recognize those who decorate at Christmas time with a Christmas Yard of the Week.
