Nashua Volleyball Defeats Lustre Christian

Nashua defeated Lustre Christian Oct. 13 for the Porcupines' Senior Night volleyball match in three sets, 25-12, 25-21, 25-18. The Porcupines fell to the Savage Warriors on the road Oct. 14 in three sets, 25-19, 25-12, 25-18.

The team had 11 kills, nine assists, 21 aces and 27 digs against the Lions. Tia Dees had six kills to lead Nashua while Kaitlyn Miller and Guinevere Abern added two each. Miller led in assists with six and Dees had three. Alexis Murdock led in aces with seven and digs with 10. Gracyn Sibley had four aces for Nashua. Dees and Leah Morgan added six digs a piece.

Against Savage, Dees had five kills and Miller had three. Miller led in assists with three while Dees added one. Miller, Dees, Sibley and Abern had one ace each. Murdock had 10 of the team's 23 digs and Dees added five. Dees stopped five shots by the Warriors while Madison Harris had one block.

Nashua traveled to Saco to take on the North Country Mavericks Tuesday, Oct. 18 to close out their regular season but scores and stats were unavailable at press time.
