For the week of Sept. 12 through Sept. 18, there were 20 motor vehicle stops, one request for a VIN inspection, six reports of loose livestock and four reports of loose dogs.

Monday, Sept. 12

1622 – Caller reported she lost a set of keys. She said there's two to three keys on the ring and she last saw them at the Cottonwood on Sunday. She already called the Cottonwood but nothing was turned into them.

1757 – Reporting party requested an officer as there have a group of transients in their parking lot. One of the transients is causing trouble. It's unknown if they have any weapons but the transient did kick in a windshield on a pickup.

1808 – A department supervisor requested an officer. He said there's a transient in the parking lot that's swinging at people. He also swung at the caller and hit the end of his nose. A description of the suspect was provided.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

0051 – FMDH requested an officer drive through the parking lot. There is a red four-door pickup with Georgia plates. They saw an older lady standing outside of it earlier and someone else had said they saw it at Albertsons earlier in the day as well. They would like for an officer to check out to see what's going on. At 0055, an officer advised it was two females who are on a road trip. He is going to help them inside as they are sick.

0734 – Reporting party advised there are a bunch of transient people sleeping at Alumni Park. She stated they were talking to the kids there when she went to pick them up from school. Officers were notified who spoke with the group and they will be on their way.

0906 – Received a call from Security Management Systems that they received a commercial burglary alarm. She stated they are getting an north and east door motion activation. They did speak with a male who did not have the proper passcode. At 0859, the owner was talked to, who stated he just got a call as well. He said the male they spoke to is allowed to be there but would still like an officer to respond. At 0904, a deputy advised he spoke with both parties on scene, they were on the phone with the owner, and everything is okay.

1210 – Reporting party called to say he is out of town but someone came to his house this morning and backed into their vehicle. He isn't home so he isn't sure of the damage and his wife didn't go look either. The caller will call back when he gets to town to have an officer come meet him at the residence to check out the vehicle. Later the caller called back to state he Is back and the damage is pretty extensive. He would like an officer come up and check it out.

1024 – An assist citizen call was recorded. An officer is out with one adult male.

1033 – Officer requested a CFS be started for animal control at a residence. A warning was given for owning chickens in city limits and was given seven days to remove them from the property.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

0655 – Caller reported a deer that appears to have been hit but is still alive however can't get up. It is on the side of the driving lane. At 0702, officer advised the deer has been dispatched.

0734 – Caller reported railroad ties smoking just to the west of the Porcupine Bridge by Frazer. BNSF dispatch was notified and the train master in Glasgow was notified and the trains have been stopped. At 0807, it was advised BNSF the fire is out and they can release the trains.

1713 – Caller reported there's a dead cream colored kitten on the sidewalk across from the residence. He stated it appears the kitten had been wearing a collar at one time because the hair is pressed down. He wanted to know if he should wait for an officer. It was advised an officer would take care of it and stated the subject doesn't have to wait.

1751 – Reporting party said her windows are open and she can smell alcohol. She also stated the two individuals who live in the building are not supposed to have alcohol.

1916 – Reporting party stated a male was in front of a local business telling people that the cops are looking for him. A description of the person was provided. An officer stated he doesn't believe they're looking for him but he will keep and eye out for the subject.

1919 – Caller reported someone broke into her house and stole some stuff. She stated they entered through a window and one of the items taken was an X-Box. She also stated she's been in the house for a while. It was advised for her to not touch anything.

2049 – A gas drive off was reported. The vehicle was followed and was able to be stopped. The business was notified they're on their way back so the driver can pay.

2118 – Caller reported he was behind a business and found a shirt wrapped around the bottom of a power pole that was on fire. He said the shirt smelled like it was soaked in diesel. The caller put the fire out and there's no damage to the pole. He's inside the business now and also stated there was a transient in front of the business earlier in the evening. At 2100, an officer advised they'll be contacting other local businesses for video footage.

2125 – Caller received some messages about a man out on Skylark. A description of the man was provided. An officer was notified in the event it was related to previous calls. Laster, a deputy advised the caller checked his messages and the subject was seen at the Fairgrounds, not Skylark, about 25 minutes ago. The deputy will patrol the fairgrounds.

2243 – A card was started at an officer's request for suspicious activity. The officer advised there's a trailer parked at the PD and the trailer has a bunch of dog stuff and garbage inside.

Thursday, Sept. 15

0932 – Caller reported he and his wife have discovered yesterday that someone has hacked into their bank account and purchased $200 worth of things online and had the items shipped to an address in St. Marie. The name they used for the shipping was his wife's maiden name. He has reported it to the bank and has also talked to the people in the fraud department for his bank. The caller also stated they cancelled all of their bank and credit cards.

1135 – Reporting party called stating he needs an officer to his residence as his neighbor ran into his fence last night while he was out looking for his dog. The caller said at that time the man's dog was resting comfortable on his front porch. The subject contacted the caller and told him about the damage and stated he would pay for it. The caller just wants it on record.

1422 – A male came in with a plate number of a vehicle that has been parked for over a year I the parking lot across the street that the Rundle Suites own. He wanted to get a hold fo the owner to have them move the vehicle or have it towed.
