Lane Thompson knocked 20 seconds off his time from the Havre meet. He finished in 14th place with a time of 19:14.31.
Both the boys and girls Scottie cross country teams placed second at their home meet Sept. 17 at Kiwanis Park in Fort Peck on a beautiful and mild day making for perfect running conditions.
