For the week of Aug. 22 through 28, there were 19 motor vehicle stops, five reports of loose/lost dogs, two VIN inspection requests and two reports of loose livestock.

For the week of Aug. 29 through Sept. 3, there were 20 motor vehicle stops, two requests for a VIN inspection, five reports of loose livestock and one report of a loose dog.

For the week of Sept. 5 through Sept. 10, there were 13 motor vehicle stops, one request for a VIN inspection, five reports of loose livestock and two reports of barking/loose dogs.

Friday, Aug. 26

1202 – Reporting party advised she just spoke with a deputy who asked her to call her report into dispatch. She stated that her neighbors have been stealing her packages off her steps for the last two years. She stated they received a package recently and her husband found the empty package with her husband's name on it in the neighbor's garage. She stated the deputy told her he would be coming on soon and would head to Frazer to take her statement.

1325 – Reporting party stated a female was there and threatening her. The description of the female was provided. While on the phone, the party said the other female was at her door. She yelled at the suspect to get her away from the door. She said she couldn't fight anyone because she is disabled but she will try to fight her if she gets in. It was advised to tell the suspect that police were en route. The reporting party said she wanted the suspect to be there when the cops got there so they can arrest her. She yelled at the suspect again and then said the suspect was trying to break down the door.

1425 – Reporting party stated an employee has been sending threatening texts and phone calls. He has asked her to stop but she won't an now he wants to speak to an officer on the phone.

1458 – Reporting party called and said a rancher reported to them that he could see smoke in Valley County. He was sure it was in Valley County but couldn't pinpoint where. Long Run Fire was contacted who said there is a grass fire in the extreme southeast corner of Phillips County with several firetrucks battling it and so far they haven't called for help.

1526 – Reporting party said he has permission from his lawyer, his ex's lawyer and the ex to come to her house and pick up his personal belongings. He wants to know if he can have a deputy to do a “stand by” while he gets his property. A deputy advised that both parties involved were advised that the sheriff's office does not do civil stand-bys and to call if anything happens. At 1549, the party called back and said the ex yelled at him and told him he couldn't be there when she wasn't there but the deputy told him that they didn't see a problem with his going to get his property. He said the ex threatened him that two sheriffs are there waiting for him and will arrest him and that she will call her family to remove him form the property. Notified the deputy stated the ex said the same thing.

1839 – Reporting party said he's passing through and he ran out of gas. He was wondering if someone has a gas can that he can borrow or give him a lift to a gas station.

2018 – Caller reported she hit a deer. She's not injured but she believes the deer is still alive. A deputy later advised the caller said the damage is under $1,000.

2212 – An abandoned vehicle was reported. AN officer stated the vehicle has been parked there for awhile as there are street sweeper marks around it. At 0839 the next day, the registered owner of the vehicle was contacted and the vehicle was broken down. They are working to get it out of there today or tomorrow.

Saturday, Aug. 27

0155 – An officer is out with someone attempting to drive who is impaired. A PBT of 0.200 was logged. Later it was determined the person had not driven yet. He is getting a ride with the bartender.

1407 – Reporting party states that while out watering flowers, she noticed a trail of blood around the library and in the direction of the Roosevelt. She also believes there is blood back by the abandoned vehicle by the Gazebo behind the library. She would like an officer to come look at it. At 1411, officer asked to have the ER be contacted to see if they see anyone come in with a wound that would be bleeding. At that time no one has come in. At 1420, the officer continued to walk toward 8th St. S following the blood trail.

2005 – Phillips County called to say there is a man driving and his wife is 39 weeks along and in hard labor. He may be driving quite fast. City Units, County Units and FMDH nurses station were notified.

Sunday, Aug. 28

0157 – Reporting party reported there is a woman standing by a car trying to flag her down. The car only had parking lights and they weren't very bright. It was determined the car needed to be jumped.

0249 – A parking violation was reported. Per an officer, it was just someone giving a ride home from the bar.

Monday, Aug. 29

1240 – Boaters in a crest liner state their engine is smoking and they can't make it back to the Marina. A description of their current location was provided. Dispatch called the Marina and they stated they don't have anyone around that could help. The Lakeridge was then called and the owner will get someone on the water and go assist.

2118 – Officer advised a motorist ran out of gas and an Albertsons employee was informed that someone was going to get gas.

2215 – Caller reported she hit a deer. She's not injured and believes the deer is off the highway but doesn't know if it's dead. There is something wrong with her car and it's partially in the roadway. At 2238, an officer advised the deer is dead and the driver will be getting a ride with the tow truck driver.

2240 – Reporting party walked into dispatch reporting a pickup whose lights are on, which usually it's not and the lights are on inside of the store. It was later advised it was an employee doing timesheets.

2252 – Caller reported a dead deer laying in the eastbound lane of US 2 just west of the bowling alley. Later an officer advised the deer was moved to the south side of the highway.

2322 – Reporting party called and reported she stores stuff in the truck of her car. When she goes to bed the car is fine, but when she wakes up, someone has opened the trunk and has thrown her belonging all over the ground. This has happened two nights in a row now.

2332 – Officer called to report that he struck a deer. He said there is minimal damage to the patrol vehicle and he is able to continue.

2343 – Reporting party called and said he had relatives coming to visit but they have not arrived and should have been there hours ago. He said he had checked every sheriff's office along US Highway 2 and has called their cell phones with no one answering.

Tuesday, Aug. 30

1313 – A parking violation was reported.

1814 – An officer reported being out with a red Chevy.

2101 – Caller reported that a dark colored pickup pulled into his yard and then into his driveway. An intoxicated woman about 30-40 years old got out and said “Hey babe, what are you doing?” He asked her who she was looking for and the woman told him. He told her that he doesn't live there anymore and she sped off headed east on Pine and then sat on the corner of Pine and Ash. He didn't get a plate number

Wednesday, Aug. 31

0827 – Caller advised he hit a deer east of Glasgow. They are on Highway 2 by Glasgow Rental. He believes the vehicle is driveable but will need a police report. At 0849, an officer advised the accident happened about 0800 today and was about 14 miles north on Nashua Road North.

1045 – Caller reported she found a gun she had reported missing three years or so ago. She found the gun in a small pocket at her home.

1801 – Caller reported he was almost rear ended by a woman driving a small red with unknown 11 county Montana plates. The woman is speeding and swerving. He is willing to sign a complaint.

1946 – Caller reported that the neighbors are blocking part of the alley so they can't get their vehicles out of the garage. At 2237, an officer advised he spoke with a male and they are working on a camper. They were advised to stop because they are really loud and were also told to clear out of the alleyway.

Thursday, Sept. 1

0005 – Assist other agency was recorded. Montana Highway Patrol is conducting a consensual search of the vehicle with officers.

0346 – Reporting party called and reported a trespasser walking between the siding rails and the main rails. A description of the male was provided. At 0351, an officer advised they found the suspect walking between the tracks. They have made contact but haven't talked to him yet.

0805 – MDOT requested an officer check out a damaged guard rail on the Milk River Bridge just east of Nashua. He said the damage happened yesterday sometime. At 0915, it was advised it looks like someone side swiped the guard rail but no debris left behind.

0937 – Caller advised she had an odd experience on Tuesday night with a vehicle at her son's house. She stated she and her son left the house at the same time, they found a darker colored van with their headlights on sitting behind her vehicle. The person never got out and just sat there with their lights on. Her son left the area but didn't feel right about it so he started to come back. She started to back up when the van then took off. The reporting party was behind the van as she headed out to her friend's house and saw the van turn into a parking lot. Today the vehicle was seen again and was able to get the plate number. She stated the person in it today was a young male with a baseball cap. She felt the behavior was really odd and thought it should be reported.

2135 – Caller reported a big service truck that's dragging a chain. He said it's not a semi, it's just a big truck. Deputy, Roosevelt 911 and Helena Highway Patrol was notified.

2301 – Caller reported she blew a tire. She's out of the driving lane and has her flashers on. She didn't know her location and said she's about 15 minutes east of Glasgow.

2343 – Received a report of an explosion and subsequent fire in the area of the Fort Peck Marina. Deputies and the Fort Peck Fire Department were able to quickly get the fire under control and no one was injured in the blast but a camper and boat did sustain damage. While investigating the area, deputies found a camper had been broken into as well as the cause of the blast was a propane tank being thrown onto an active fire pit.

Friday, Sept. 2

1426 – Reporting party wanted to speak with a deputy about something bad going on for him. He said he received a call from Amazon stating his credit card was used in fraudulent activities. He said he called the number back and people just kept transferring him to different people. He said they were trying to get him to confirm his account information and credit card information. He said he did not give them any information. They told him that they were going to send the cops to come get him if he didn't give them the information. He was told it was a scam.

1708 – Reporting party requested an officer. He said his ex-girlfriend broke into his residence. He said he didn't know her last name but she's at the residence also. At 1717, dispatch called the residence back to see if everything was okay still but didn't get an answer.

1810 – Officer advised he's blocking traffic for a truck that's backing up from the bridge.

2133 – Caller reported that's a small blue bicycle behind Albertsons. He thought it might be stolen. An officer drove by and looks like the bike is leaning against the building like it was left there on purpose.

2335 – Caller reporting a car on the side of the road with it's flashers on. It's unknown if anyone is inside.

Saturday, Sept. 3

1226 – Reporting party called to report a field fire started on a nearby property by a combine. As dispatch was talking to the party, Opheim Fire Chief called in asking if they received a call. It was confirmed he will be sounding the alarm if dispatch could page out. It was determined Opheim Fire would be able to handle. At 1247, Richland Fire was requested to be paged.

1627 – Reporting party called in to report shots fired. She stated that the vehicle was a pickup and also provided the license plate number. She said three shots were fired then 20 minutes later two more shots were fired. She stated she called because of the fire danger. It was advised it's not against the law to fire guns at the location. The party also stated she didn't actually see the gun being fired and she heard the shots and assumed that they were the ones shooting the gun.

1618 – Deputy stopped to assist a vehicle at the side of the road. Later he advised he was giving the driver a ride home.

1644 – Reporting party called in to report a dog left in a vehicle. She gave a description of the location of the vehicle. Later the caller stated the owner returned to the vehicle.

1741 – Caller stated he attended a wedding at Fort Peck and while driving home his vehicle broke down. He pulled it over and off the roadway. He plans on getting the vehicle around noon tomorrow when he can get his trailer over there. He wanted it called in and put on record if anyone called about it.

1938 – Reporting party called in to report gunshots near the firing range but he's sure they are not on the range.

2049 – Deputy took a complaint about a four-wheeler. It was advised to keep the four-wheeler off the beach and to not hit golf balls into the water.

2154 – Insight Transmitter Activation for a male involved being stalked by a mountain lion and he is in a tree. Coordinates were provided. At 2218, Gallatin County also called as the wife of the man called them to tell them what was going on at that moment. A description of the vehicle he was driving was provided.

At 2237, more calls were received, the mountain lion followed the person along a ridge line for a mile. He shot a couple of arrows at it and it still has some arrows in case it comes up the tree. At 0104 on Sept. 4, the hunter was located and got him safely back to camp.

2227 – A disabled motor vehicle was reported. A vehicle with flashers on but off the road. At 2229, it was advised no one is around and the vehicle is not a hazard.

Monday, Sept. 5

1545 – Deputy reported that there's a stop sign down at the intersection of Hwy 24N and Hwy42 by the railroad crossing. A message was left for DOT.

1952 – Public assist call was recorded. Deputy advised they left as she pulled up.

2100 – The caller reported a patrol vehicle that's driving around with their spotlight on. She said they were on 2nd Ave. and went to 3rd Ave S. She just saw them again on 2nd Ave. and 11th Street South. She flashed her lights at them because she thought it was kids goofing off and then she noticed it was an officer. The officer was advised and he turned it off.

2109 – An unknown woman reported someone firing a gun in the Fort Peck area near the Airport addition. She said the person was shooting at a skunk but was directed toward her residence. While on the phone, another individual walked in and told her that the shooting stopped and to cancel the call. It was advised someone would still come to check out what is going on.

Tuesday, Sept. 6

1140 – Reporting party called in stating he stopped to help out a male subject who is having trouble with his van. He gave the driver some water for his radiator. A description of the vehicle was provided. It was stated there are three kids in the vehicle. The caller just through it was suspicious and would like an officer to check it out.

1316 – Reporting party called stating they have some transients that are in front of their door at the store. They have been asked to leave as soon as another one of them gets back. An officer will remain in the area until they leave. At 1329, the officer stated there are five of them. He sent the other two to get their things at the store and so they will be off the property.

Wednesday, Sept. 7

0003 – RCSO called and said their officer requested a VCSO officer to assist. RCSO dispatch said she couldn't get much information out of the caller other than her name. It was determined to be a domestic call but the perpetrator left the premises and the female calling, when asked if she needed an ambulance said “look at my face” and then hung up. The information was passed along.

0312 – An officer advised he will be out at the above address. There is a motorcycle parked incorrectly. He is going to issue a warning for it. At 1816, officer advised he spoke with the registered own over the phone. He will remove his motorcycle from the sidewalk and remove the random items from the grass that the city owns.

0732 – Caller reported a deer that may have been hit. It's back legs don't seem to be working. Fish and Game were notified who advised they don't have anyone available due to training in Malta. MHP Dispatch was also contacted and they don't have anyone in the area either.

1103 – Reporting party called in stating she works for the Post Office and for about a month now she has been having problems delivering mail to an address as there are two dogs that are out and come after her. Both dogs were described. Today she couldn't deliver any mail to the block as she felt unsafe to do so. She also stated she has told the female who lives there that she can't deliver the mail if the dogs are out but it hasn't made any difference, as the dogs are always out loose.

1119 – Reporting party called in requesting an officer to come to the Condo Association Office. They have people that are climbing through an attic and going into another unit and destroying the unit. The reporting party has keys to the unit so she can go with the officer.

1131 – Officer advised she is pulling the hood of a vehicle off the road. At 1132, it was advised the hood is on the west side of the highway.

1838 – Caller requested an officer at her residence to remove a male. She said he is high on drugs. While on the phone, the subject left the residence headed east with another male. The reporting party is afraid that the male will return. The caller was instructed to call if the male returned to the residence.

1839 – Reporting party walked in to dispatch lobby and reported a guest has two dogs in their vehicle. She told them they were pet friendly and they can bring the dogs inside of the motel, but they told her that the dogs loved it and left the dogs in the vehicle. At 1859, it was advised the dog is in a U-Haul but the subject wasn't at the hotel. At 2005, it was advised the subject is back.

2142 – Caller reported an empty big black trash can taking up most of the southbound lane. Reporting party said there was a car heading that way and may have removed it. Later it was advised the flower pot trash can is off the road.

2309 - Life360 reported he receive a crash report in the vicinity of Skylark Road and close to Martin Coulee Road. At 2311, it was reported the parties involved were contacted. The driver swerved sharply to miss hitting a deer and it set the alarm off. The client is fine, he missed the deer and everything is okay.

2321 – Reporting party said he passed by his window on the way to bed. He smelled fire and asked if there were any active fires going on nearby. There were no active fires to the dispatch knowledge. The party was asked if he could tell where the smoke was coming from however would get dressed and go out to see what he could find. It was advised to call back if found anything.

Thursday, Sept. 8

0015 – RCSO dispatch called and said he received a phone call from a woman. She said she smelled smoke and it seems to be coming from the north of her residence however didn't see any flames. It was advised the smoke is from fires in neighboring counties.

0204 – Owner of a pickup and father of driver called to report an accident on Skylark Road about 1.5 miles north of the Golf Course. He reported his son had a wreck. He is fine but the vehicle got hurt. The vehicle is sitting on a side of the road. The pickup had lost a wheel so he will be calling a wrecker to come get it in the morning.

0252 – Officer advised he and another officer are checking out a suspicious pickup that has its tailgate down. It was determined the owner was just unloading items.

1357 – Superintendent for Frazer called in requesting an officer as a female came into the school and was yelling at an employee. They would like to make a report on the incident.

1413 – Reporting party called in stating they are in an RV and have just turned onto 6th St. They need help backing up.

1628 – A male called in on the 911 line stating he has been informed by another party that his neighbor that just moved in next door is a registered sex offender. He is concerned about this as he has kids and he was never made aware of this if it is true. He would like to speak to an officer about this matter.

1745 – Caller stated she found out that she rented out her basement to a registered sex offender. She said she didn't get their last name and she didn't know that he was a registered sex offender. She wants them out of there. An officer was notified.

Friday, Sept. 9

0200 – Caller reported a red vehicle in the intersection with a woman inside that is either passed out or unconscious. A deputy rolled up to the vehicle was on the phone. A PBT of 0.255 was recorded.

0749 – Reporting party called in stating his neighbor's dog starts barking at 0700 hours and just starts howling. He states this happens every day and would like something done about it.

0835 – Reporting party called in a motor vehicle accident and there are no injuries. At 1051 it was advised the bus is clear from the roadway and is no longer a hazard.

1043 – Caller reported they are supposed to be getting a new roof. They paid the construction company $9,600 now “they just took the money and ran.” The reporting party gave the name of the company and the owner.

1118 – Reporting party called in requesting an officer for a minor motor vehicle accident. She states someone hit her from behind, then she bumped the car in front of her. There are no injuries.

1135 – Reporting party called in stating there are a couple round bales that fell off a truck are in the westbound lane. MT DOT in Wolf Point was contacted. At 1146, a deputy advised he just passed a semi by the four lanes and is going to check the vehicle to see if it was involved.

1420 – An employee at Ezzie's advised they have two vagrants behind the building and would like them removed. At 1438, an officer advised they spoke to the subjects and they will be on their way.

1455 – A public assist call was recorded. It was advised all of the clothing was picked up.

1623 – Vehicle is out of gas and needs assistances getting pushed out of the intersection.

2210 - Deputy reported a Facebook post and other reports of two males parked and out walking at the Frazer Park. Parents saw them and brought their kids inside. A description of the males were provided.

Saturday, Sept. 10

0009 – Reporting party stated two adult males have a pump pellet gun and were shooting at vehicles she thought. At 0021, an officer spoke to a male at the reporting party's residence. He last saw them heading north and it was thought to be an air-soft gun they were pumping up. They shot at something in the neighbor's yard. The officer drove around and didn't see anyone fitting that description.

0121 – Tribal security reported an unsecured building. Per deputy, a screen door was half open, but slider was only cracked an inch. The place looks well kept.

2316 – Reporting party reported there has been music playing for about five hours. It is from across the street somewhere. Per office, the music is coming from a party at a bar which they have a permit for in the park next to the bar. At 2327, the reporting party called back and saw the officer drive by. She was notified it was a party in the park and they are permitted.
