Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913

National Assisted Living Week

National Assisted Living Week is this week, Sept. 11 through 17, so it was only fitting that Prairie Ridge Village was chosen as the Yard of the Week by the Glasgow City Council. The facility wins $25 in Chamber Big Bucks, compliments of the City Council, and will proudly display the sign all week.

Assisted living communities where Montana residents live are so much more than just that. They are places where caregivers, residents, family members, and communities come together as an extended family and celebrate and create joyful, happy memories.

The Montana Health Care Association (MHCA) celebrates the extraordinary bonds built in Montana's assisted living communities between residents, staff and families where they truly are one big extended family, finding joy in caring for each other. That is why the MHCA celebrates National Assisted Living Week and its theme Joyful Moments.

Assisted living communities play a special role in caring for Montana's seniors and individuals with disabilities. This year's theme, in particular, encourages communities to highlight the dedication of staff, the individuality of residents and the deep connections formed in these settings that make us all family.

From all of us in Valley County, we appreciate the roles the entire staff at Prairie Ridge fulfill in our community!
