For the week of June 13 through 19, there were 58 motor vehicle stops, six reports of loose livestock, two reports of barking/loose dogs and two VIN inspection requests

Friday, June 10

1731 – Reporting party advised a green four-wheeler was driving up and down Walnut Street at a high rate of speed. This has happened before and reporting party was advised by a deputy to call it in when it occurs because the suspect has been warned twice before. The reporting party is willing to sign a complaint. At 1733 officer advised one citation for careless driving was issued and the suspect was warned that if he is caught driving on a public roadway he will be arrested. At 1745, officer advised the suspect followed his patrol vehicle on foot to the reporting party’s house and has been videoing the surrounding area and where they’ve been standing. A statement form was dropped off to the reporting party.

1720 – Reporting party called and stated she ran over a dog and has no collar. Dispatch asked what color the dog was and she stated “It’s gone, it’s dead.” A description of the dog was provided.

2211 – RCSO requesting mutual aid assistance for a domestic in Frazer. RCSO was called back for more information and the dispatcher stated the officer cleared the scene.

Saturday, June 11

0856 – Officer advised they would be out with a semi who was parked in the street.

1628 – Pedestrian walking towards Glasgow was reported. No further assistance was needed.

1718 – Officer requested a contact to tribal officers to assist and bring their drug dog to the location. RCSO 911 and they stated the officer is not on duty but she will try to contact him and then get back. At 1719, RCSO 911 called back and stated the K9 officer will be headed to their direction. At 1811, officer advised MHP will be seizing the vehicle and they will be calling a rotational wrecker shortly.

1743 – Received a call to make dispatch aware there is a malfunction with the crossing arms at the Whatley Road Crossing. They are attempting to get ahold of crews to get it fixed.

Monday, June 13

1357 – Caller reported a woman turned on one of the red water spickets and was having difficulty shutting it off. The water from the spicket was flooding down the street. Glasgow Water Department was notified.

1502 – Officer advised he would be out with a vehicle in the road and will help push them out of the way. Later officer advised the vehicle started and pulled off when he pulled up to the vehicle.

1630 – Caller reported that a silver Civic cut him off and was doing about 90 MPH, between Nashua and Glasgow. The vehicle is now out by the bowling alley and is still headed westbound. The caller doesn’t want to sign a complaint.

Tuesday, June 14

0252 – Suspicious activity was reported. Officer reported it was some people hanging out and they aren’t doing anything wrong but notified the people it looks suspicious and they’d be better off at home.

1036 – Received a 911 call initially from a computer stating airbags have deployed. After a few times of the announcement, dispatch was able to talk to a male. The male was not hurt, but the passenger wasn’t sure if they were okay. The mile marker was unknown however it was determined they were in Phillips County. PCSO dispatch was notified and first responders were contacted.

1135 – Officer advised he spoke to a male who only wants to speak to a specific officer on a matter. The other officer advised he spent sometime with the individual. They photographed the property to document what is being mowed and what isn’t.

1206 – Reporting party called stating she has lost her key fob for her vehicle. It would have been on Memorial Day just outside her residence. The fob was on a leather case which had her credit cards in it but she has canceled those so she said she is not worried about that. Dispatch advised the caller nothing like what was described has been turned in but would pass along the information.

Wednesday, June 15

1406 – Dispatch received a call from a female who states she has a Ford Echo which her boyfriend is now in possession of. She states she didn’t tell him to take the vehicle, he just took it. She was asked if she called the police in Wolf Point, and she stated she didn’t because he lives in Frazer. She is at the airport right now and she doesn’t trust her boyfriend to have her vehicle while she is gone. She would like someone to get the vehicle and keep it in storage until she gets back. It was determined this is a civil matter.

1717 – Caller reported a tree down across the highway. The tree is blocking both lanes. Valley County Road Department was contacted.

1719 – A caller reported a man and a woman are arguing by First Community Bank. He didn’t see anything physical but said there’s profanity and lot of loud screaming. A description of the male and female were provided.

1919 – Officer reported they are removing some debris from the road.

1950 – A male said he was supposed to meet a co-worker in Culbertson but he didn’t show up. The caller said the other male had to walk until he had cell service and stated that he’s stuck in the mud. A description of the location was provided.

Thursday, June 16

0916 – Reporting party called in advising they have had a minor fender bender. There are no injuries. Officer responded and advised he took some pictures and the parties exchanged information.

1848 – Caller reported that the power pole on the east side of the bus barn popped and then put out a puff of black smoke. Her power went out briefly then came back on. She doesn’t see any sparking or fire. Northwestern Energy was contacted.

1855 – Caller reported that about 15 minutes ago he heard a loud pop like a transformer and then his power went out. He said his neighbors also don’t have power. Northwestern Energy was contacted and they have crews en route.

Friday, June 17

0036 – Officers are out looking at a bike that is laying on the ground.

1158 – Officer advised the underpass is clear now.

1633 – Reporting party called in stating they just had a female leave the store. When she got in the pick up, she had a little boy with her who was not secured in a car seat. She is willing to sign a complaint and a plate number was provided. At 1646, officer advised he patrolled the common areas in town and was unable to locate the vehicle but will continue to look for it while doing patrols.

1920 – Officer is out with a trailer that appears to have a tire on fire.

1926 – A truck is illegally parked on US 2 next to the fairgrounds. The registered owner of the pickup was called and asked to move the vehicle.

1956 – Officer advised someone found a purse that was left on a table that had an ID in it. At 2010, the purse was returned to the owner.

2127 – Reporting party is having a person trespassing on their property in a truck and camper. This person has been warned multiple times and he is unsure what they are doing down there. Officer arrived to locate the suspects. At 0834 on June 18, the reporting party’s wife called and stated the individual is back and trying to remove his property from the land. The landowners are on site watching to make sure the individual leaves.

Saturday, June 18

0056 – An individual’s vehicle sprung a coolant leak. Officer will follow them to St. Marie.

0148 – Per an officer an individual is intoxicated and was turned over to his brother.

0619 – Reporting party stated a drunk guy is sleeping in their doorway. They are about to open the door and the guy is getting violent. Per the officer, the person was gone by the time he got there. The male was found walking on 2nd Ave. S and the officer gave him a ride to a local residence.

1042 – Reporting party called and stated someone last night vandalized the mailboxes in the Park Grove Trailer Park. He states it’s not an emergency but wanted it on record.

1822 – A hazard was reported. Officer advised he spoke to the person renting the equipment and they will get it out of the roadway.

1939 – Received a call from Onstar stating there was a collision and a description of the vehicle was provided. It was determined the male was rear ended. At 2010, officer requested the City Road Department be notified to clean up debris.

2133 – Caller reported there was a white suburban with its lights flashing. It was determined to be the vehicle from a previous motor vehicle accident.

2130 – Reporting party stated there is a vehicle parked with four dogs inside it since at least 2000. The windows are down a little bit but the dogs are panting. She did not look inside to see if there is water. Officer was able to get in contact with the registered owner.

2226 – Hotel employee reported a male that was at the front desk who was drunk and yelling, which was scaring off customers. He went up to his room. The employees stated his friends from the work crew he is a part of told her to call the cops.

Sunday, June 19

0059 – Per officer, another officer thought he saw someone sleeping in a car.
