Glasgow Stockyards Market Report

The market report for the Glasgow Stockyards as of June 16 show 609 cattle sold with cows higher and bulls on light test of mostly lower yielding kind. Utility and commercial cows brought in $85 to $99; canner and cutter cows $70 to $85; young feeding/turnout cows $85 to $125; bulls $98 to $113 and nine to 12-year old cow/calf pairs brought in $1,525 to $1,700 per pair.

Thursday, June 23 is the All Class Cattle Auction featuring cow/calf pairs. Also Thursday, June 23, through Friday, June 24 is the Northern Video Auction. Friday, June 28, is the deadline for the July Northern Video Auction.

Thursday, June 30 is the pre-4th Dry Cow Special and All Class Cattle Auction with Thursday, July 7 being the Dry Cow Special and All Class Cattle Auction. There will be no auction Thursday, July 14.
