Highlanders Set Records at Montana Open

Wow! Great job Highlanders. We tied a club record by bringing 53 kids to the big dance: the Montana Open at the Metra this weekend.

Just as they've done all season long, our guys and gals did not disappoint. We came away with a club record five champions and another club record 24 top six place winners. Five more Highlanders finished runner-up and just short of a Skull.

We finished 5th Place overall in the large team race out of an astonishing 177 clubs in attendance. The event featured a record 2,324 wrestlers. An awesome finish to an incredible season. Be proud Glasgow.

These successes are not possible without the hard work of our kids or the unwavering support of this community, our parents and extended wrestling family, the dedicated coaches, and each of those individuals in Board and Leadership positions. Thank you for making the Glasgow Wrestling Club the "Gold Standard" in the State of Montana. Short of our seven individuals heading to Iowa with Team Montana in April, this weekend marked the end of the 2022 season.

We had a record 125 kids in wrestling this season: 100 boys and 25 girls. Our goal is 150 next season and we already can't wait untill it's time to get back on the mats! Be on the lookout for all offseason and summer camp information to be posted in the coming weeks.
