Farm Bureau Scholarships Available For Students

Deadline is April 1

The Montana Farm Bureau Foundation and the Montana Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee are offering the following scholarships for students pursuing higher education.

Montana Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee

The Montana Farm Bureau Federation will present two, $1,500 scholarships made available through special efforts of the MFB Women’s Leadership Committee. The scholarships are available to both boys and girls. The winner will be selected on the following criteria: 1) Must be an incoming college freshman. 2) Scholarship must be used the year it is awarded. 3) Must be a current paid Montana Farm Bureau member, or an immediate member of a current paid Montana Farm Bureau family. This application is due on April 1.

Montana Farm Bureau Foundation Future of Agriculture Honor Scholarship

The $1,500 Future of Agriculture Honor Scholarship Application is administered by the Montana Farm Bureau Foundation through generous donations from Seed Source, Inc. of Toston, Mont. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist students towards the completion of a degree in a field pertaining to agriculture. A special emphasis will be given to applicants who have shown ingenuity in agricultural production and advancement of small scale agriculture. 1) Applicants must be pursuing a major, minor or graduate degree in a field pertaining to agriculture from an accredited institute of higher education 2) Students must be enrolled at that institution for the Fall 2022 semester and achieved at least a sophomore level of education. This application is due on April 1.

Bernard Greufe Honor Scholarship

The $1,500 Bernard Greufe Honor Scholarship was established to assist Montana Farm Bureau members and children of members pursue a higher education. 1) Applicants must be pursuing a degree from an accredited institute of higher education. Award is not limited to students pursuing a degree or career in agriculture. This application is due on April 1.

2022 Collegiate Young Farmer & Rancher Scholarship

The Montana Farm Bureau Foundation will award one (1) $1,000 scholarship to a current member of the Collegiate Chapter of Young Farmers and Ranchers at MSU Bozeman, UM Western, Miles Community College or Dawson Community College. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist Collegiate Young Farmer and Rancher members in pursuing a higher education. This application is due on April 1.

Students wishing to apply for these scholarships will need to sign in to the Montana Farm Bureau scholarship portal, which is available by visiting mfbf.org/Programs/Scholarships.
