The Glasgow Kiwanis Club provided an ice cream social for 15 students from the Glasgow Middle School who brought up their grades between the first and second grading period in grades 6 through 8, called the BUG (Bringing Up Grades) Awards.
Paityn Britzman and Mayzie Yoakam from the Builders Club helped serve the ice cream with their advisor Nicole Boos and Charles Wilson and Principal Mike Zoanni presented the awards.
Those receiving awards were: Orien Henry and Hank Hopstad from grade 6; Dylon Fischer-Murch, Trey Graham, Avery Merrigan, Debra Shields and Jason White from grade 7; and Tavin Boland, Katelyn Lewis, Andrew Leslie, Hailey Leslie, Connor Martell, Avery Pedersen, Elle Tryan and Kaylly Turner from grade 8.
BUG Awards are presented worldwide by Kiwanis International, serving the children of the world.
