911 Calls for Jan. 17 to 19m 2022

Monday, Jan. 17

• 10:19:14 -Alarm company called in with a residential fire alarm. While on the phone, the operator stated the pass code had been entered and it was a false alarm. No need to page fire.

• 13:19:38 - Caller advised the area in front of western drug is very icy. Called the city road dept. after hours number and left a message about the road condition.

• 13:21:53 - Radioed G6 to alert him to the road condition and the fact the city road department was notified and a message left.

Tuesday, Jan. 18

• 02:48:30 - Reporting party said a burglar alarm for the front door was going off. She tried to call the contact person, but had to leave a voice mail. The contact person has not yet responded. Advised V27.

• 03:03:19 - V27 advised he checked the building. There are no broken windows and doors are secured. He thinks the wind rattled the front door.

• 10:26:11 - Caller wants to set up a VIN inspection for a vehicle. She has the paperwork with her from the treasurers office.

• 10:28:11 - Patched the caller up with V21.

• 16:08:01 - Caller reported that he lost his wallet yesterday. He was at subway around 1400-1430 hrs and also at the airport. He called both places but nobody has found the wallet. I checked with G1 and he wasn’t aware of this being turned in at their office. He will let us know if he finds it.

Wednesday, Jan. 19

• 03:24:06 - A male called in to request assistance. He stated that his trucks fuel had gelled up and he was getting cold. He stated that he had made a delivery earlier in the day yesterday and he parked at the above location.

• 13:16:39 - A male called in stating there is an accident at the above location, I asked if anyone was injured he said the one guy has a bloody nose, he said just one vehicle involved. It is a Ford Explorer. I asked what color, but he said that the guard rail is blocking half the road. He also stated the subject was trying to leave, but said he couldn’t leave.

• 18:22:25 - Caller requested assistance in contacting someone from the water department. She said the main water line coming into the seed house is broken. I called the after hours cell phone for the water department.

• 18:57:11 - Reporting Party called and said the woman from the water department stopped by, but then left to shut off the curb stop. The caller hasn’t seen her and the water hasn’t shut off. I called the worker for the water department and patched her up with the RP.

• 19:52:19 - Caller reported a black cow on skylark road about 1/4 mile south of the Ridgerunners. Possible owner contacted and will check on it

Thursday, Jan. 20

• 04:20:45 - Written warning for operating a motor vehicle on a public roadway with only one functioning headlamp.

• 07:45:37 - Store employee advised they just had a drive off. It was for $55.84. She got the plate. She described the vehicle as a dark colored SUV. she said the driver was an older female

• 08:19:08 - G1 advised he spoke to a female, she will get a hold of Ezzie’s Midtown to take care of this.

• 10:14:21 - A female called in stating there is a dead deer on the right side of the Road by the red house going up toward the Cemetery off U.S. Highway 2.

• 10:18:23 - Called the county rd dept and let him know about this deer, he stated he has a couple guys out and will let them know about it.

• 16:36:17 - Male called in stating another male came over to his garage and took his boat, his 4-wheeler and his trailer.

• 17:37:32 - Caller reported that there is a bull out about 3-4 miles west of Hinsdale. He said it’s on the north side of the hwy. Left a message for owner. I also notified livestock

Inspector.
