911 Calls for Jan. 13 through Jan. 14, 2022

Thursday, Jan. 13

• 08:04:35 - Male caller reported a manhole cover that is tipped up and open in front of the courthouse. The male is concerned that someone is going to drive into it and get their tire down in the hole. Called the city street dept, he will head right over.

• 08:46:13 - The city street dept called in to let us know they are shutting down part of the street in front of the courthouse as they have found this manhole cover is broken,

• 11:50:39 - The water dept called back to advise that they are done and the street is open.

• 16:34:35 - Caller requested a officer. He just shot a dog that lunged at him. He gave the names of the dogs owners. The dog is a medium size mix breed dog. While I was on the

Phone with the RP, the owner of the dog called in to report that his neighbor just shot his dog. He said he witnessed the entire incident. He said his dog was just barking when the neighbor pulled out a gun and shot it. I advised him that we have officers enroute. He hung up. I then returned to the RP. Who gave the address he would wait for officers. He said he

has the incident on video.

• 17:57:07 - Caller reported that she hit a deer at US 2 and Whatley Road. No injuries. She doesn’t know about the deer. She’s in the Reynolds parking lot now. She’s in a silver 2005

Chevy Silverado. I advised her (for 21) that the officer will meet up with her at her house. 28 Was going to make sure that the deer isn’t a road hazard.

Friday, Jan. 14

• 00:43:50 - RP called and asked if there was a wrecker who could respond quicker than four hours. He said his insurance company told him they had called all around the area, and the only one they could find was in billings. I told him that Triple A used Thompsons & Sons, and offered him the telephone number. He said he’d like the number, so I provided it.

• 01:46:54 - Warning given for not having headlamps on.

• 09:43:08 - A female called in stating there is a vehicle that has been parked in front of her shop for two days now, she states it is parked in the yellow and also in a crosswalk, she

advised it is a blue Ford Ranger XLT

• 09:57:17 - G6 advised he spoke to the R/O of the vehicle, he is going to come and move it.

• 10:31:13 - Caller believes he may have had an email scam or hack, he states he needed to set up an account with “Zell.” He did with Wells Fargo bank. He talked to a Wells Fargo employee, told them they should be getting it soon, the female at the bank didn’t know about this site either, he went back and checked the email and saw that the address was 1 letter

Off, he has deleted the account off Wells Fargo and they know about this but he wanted to make a report about it also in case anything happens with it.

• 14:08:45 - V21 one cite; bond received.

• 14:24:44 - Arrested one male for driving while revoked

• 18:27:14 - Warning issued

• 19:55:39 - Obstructed plate on gold Chevy.

• 20:25:35 - 25 Advised that he removed a male from the school grounds. He was informed by the school staff that he’s not allowed to be at the school.
