Glasgow Man Killed Near Jordan in Three-Vehicle-Collision

An elderly Glasgow man was killed the afternoon of Dec. 3 in a three-vehicle collision on MT Highway 59 near Jordan.

The man’s identity has not been released to The Courier, and Montana Highway Patrol has not responded to multiple requests for additional information.

According to KRTV-3 in Great Falls, the 75-year-old man was traveling northbound at about 2:35 p.m. near mile marker 59, while a semi-truck and minivan were traveling southbound.

The front of the man’s vehicle struck the trailer of the semi and bounced off, and then hit the minivan.

The man was transported to Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City, and then airlifted to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Billings.

The man was wearing a seatbelt, was not suspected by law enforcement of driving under the influence of alcohol, and road conditions were dry at the time.

The drivers of the semi-truck and minivan were uninjured.
