Class C Volleyball District Play-ins

Frazer, Lustre Christian and Nashua each faced a play-in game, all played on Oct. 26, for the District 1-C volleyball tournament in Scobey. Unfortunately, the three Valley County teams fell, ending their seasons.

Frazer traveled to Fairview in their bid to keep the Bearcubs season going. The young and inexperienced Bearcubs fell in the match 15-25, 6-25, 15-25.

Lustre Christian lost their play-in bid to Bainville 16-25, 9-25, 9-25. The Lions had seven kills, three block, four aces, 40 digs and three assists in the match. Alexa Redding led in kills with three, blocks with two, and digs with 14. Aubri Holzrichter led in aces with two and assists with three.

Nashua faced MonDak and took the team to five sets but lost the match 25-17, 28-30, 25-17, 17-25, 12-15. The Porcupines had 32 kills, 11 assists, 19 aces, 35 digs and three blocks. Haydynn Adkins had nine kills, Kaitlyn Miller eight, and Deja Morgan seven. Kaitlyn Miller led in assists with nine. Tia Dees led in aces with 11 and in blocks with all three. Hadynn Adkins had 15 digs and Tia Dees had 10 to lead Nashua.
