There were seven motor vehicle stops, six animal control calls, two hazards, two dog/cat control calls, one traffic control call and one report for record.
Monday, Oct. 4
1555 – Caller reported a theft from the Rundle laundry room around 2118 last night. They have the suspect on video. He believes it's the subject that has been in town for a few days. Advised him that the officers will be there as soon as they're available.
1555 – Received multiple calls for two-vehicle accident – one semi and a UPS truck. While on the call the caller stated one trapped in vehicle and it is on fire. She stated they were attempting to put water on the fire with five gallons of water. 1609 – MHP is en route from Glendive. The only information gathered was a UPS truck hit the back of a semi. The caller stated it appeared as if the driver was stuck in the vehicle. A deputy advised an update that the driver's leg is pinned in the vehicle. Passed on information to fire command. A second caller reported a vehicle accident at the west entrance of Frazer. The vehicle involved is a UPS vehicle. The driver is trapped inside. The vehicle is not on fire at this time. Notified Roosevelt 911 of this. Roosevelt 911 called with an update. He said after VC dispatch called them, they received another call reporting a small fire in the engine compartment of the UPS truck. Updated the responders. Fire command advised the fire is out. Also advised one lane travel, debris. Deputy advised the fire is out, Wolf Point ambulance is on scene. Per fire command, RC EMS on scene, keep Glasgow EMS for back up. The fire is out, but the driver is still trapped. Extradition equipment will be on scene shortly. 1722 – Deputy advised that they have the patient out of the vehicle.
1829 – A woman reported that her son's vehicle has a flat tire. They already called Thompson's but they won't be able to pick it up until 8 a.m. She said it's out of the driving lane, but it's in a bad spot. She said it's near the crest of a hill. A deputy advised the vehicle is not a hazard.
2013 – A woman reported she hit a deer about 6 miles west of Fort Peck on Hwy 24S. She didn't know the mile marker. She's not injured. She doesn't know if the deer is dead or if it's off the road. She drove her vehicle home. She's not able to open her passenger side door. 10-05 1531 – She said a deputy was supposed to stop by at 1500 hours but nobody stopped by. Patched her up with a deputy. 1559 – She called and said she called her insurance company and she doesn't need a response now. Her insurance company told her they would send an insurance adjuster. She would like someone to call her back and let her know if anyone is responding.
2320 – RP reporting a man punched a window and is cut and bleeding and is drunk on Jack and took off. Dispatch talked to a woman to confirm he was walking and she said he destroyed a bunch of stuff and that he may need to go to the hospital and then jail. She also said her mom was crying and they were trying to get everyone and the dogs calmed down and cleaning up the blood. An officer requested an ambulance. Per a deputy, dropped the man at his residence. One citation for disorderly.
Tuesday, Oct. 5
0136 – Caller reporting about 60 gunshots in succession from a semi auto. It woke him up. He heard a vehicle but didn't see it. It might have gone south. A deputy patrolled about 35 miles and is UTL on anything.
1010 – A female called in stating two dogs just tried to attack her and her children. She has three kids in a stroller and a puppy on a leash. They were walking by the residence when the dogs came after her. She states she maced the two dogs.
1419 – A county employee called in stating he has a crew that was mowing grass and started a grass fire. They have put the fire out but would like a truck from Hinsdale to put more water on it to make sure it stays out.
1426 - Caller reported seeing hands sticking out of a dumpster. When trying to clarify where this was exactly, asked if she could see anyone in the dumpster and the story changed to not in a dumpster but on the ground and seeing hands under some cardboard and debris. 1443 – The RP called back and stated someone else came to the dump and look, what she reported was actually a picture on a box. Deputies proceeded to make sure there was nothing else in the area.
1756 – Caller lost her cell phone sometime this morning. She believes she left the phone on her vehicle when they went fro a drive.
Wednesday, Oct. 6
1159 – A deputy advised he has arrested a man.
1413 – Male caller advised his wife texted him about an incident happening in Billings. He states he is up here working. Advised him to call Billings. He said he was afraid the call would come to VC and not them. He stated he will call the sheriff's office in Billings.
1550 – A person came into the dispatch lobby to give a set of keys she found.
1754 – Caller reported that they had a gas drive-off about 20 minutes ago. 2225 – An officer advised that the customer was charged fro the wrong pump. He paid them around $65 instead of the $48.67 he owed.
1918 – Caller reported he hit a deer. He's out of the driving lane. He has his flasher son. No injuries. He doesn't know if the deer is off the highway.
Thursday, Oct. 7
1930 -A female called in to report someone had hit the speed indicator and that it's broken all over the road. She advised a police officer had just shown p and is looking at it. The officer called in stating he was at the address and requested a card started about a motor vehicle accident stating someone had hit the speed indicator and no vehicle was on scene.
Friday, Oct. 8
0524 – A female called in to report a suspicious vehicle that pulled up to the pumps approximately 30 minutes before she called. She stated that no one has got out of the vehicle.
Saturday, Oct. 9
1659 – Female called in to report a woman hit her with a stick outside of her house. Dispatch asked the caller if she needed an ambulance, she replied, no, she just wanted police to look into it. A deputy was unable to locate the suspect or the RP.
1736 – A male called to report a vehicle illegally passed him and kicked up rocks that broke the RP's windows. He advised the driver is still going extremely fast and reckless.
Sunday, Oct. 10
0145 – A bar employee reported having a male in there causing problems, was thrown out and pulled a knife on his friend.
