Youth Rodeo

The Valley County Fairgrounds played host to the Montana High School Rodeo Association, Jr. High and Youth Rodeo Association Rodeo Sept. 25 and 26 with two days of jam packed country action. Young rodeo stars from across the region entered the arena with hopes of pocketing prize money.

After two days and more than 40 competitions, Chalee Harms was named the High School All Around girl and Jack Cornwell earned the honors in the boys competition. Willow Vohs was named All Around girl in the Jr. High category and Tucker Tuberville was named All Around boy in the Jr. High level.

In YRA action, Blake Ozark, Morgan McEwen and Hatley Weeding ended up in a three-way tie for All Around girl honors. Brody Gilbert earned the top slot in the boys YRA All Around competition. Quincy Vohs, girls, and Pistol Grebe, boys, were named All Around winners in the Peewee competition.

The Glasgow Rodeo Committee paid out the top two places in each competition. Not all competitions had winners.
