New Ad-Agent at The Courier

Theresa "Reese" Johnson a Newspaper Veteran

The Glasgow Courier is proud to announce the long vacant position of advertising agent has been filled by Theresa "Reese" Johnson of Nashua.

"I look forward to building long term relationships with the businesses in Valley County, and am eager to meet clients in person in the coming weeks," Johnson said.

Johnson holds a bachelor's degree in media studies with an emphasis on photography from Montana State University, in Bozeman.

In the early 1990s, Johnson was an ad photographer and photojournalist for the Antelope Valley Press newspaper in Palmdale, California.

She has also worked as a photographer for the Hungry Horse Newspaper in Columbia Falls, MT, and at the Bozeman Chronicle newspaper in Bozeman.

Additionally, she has been a contributing photographer for Montana Outdoor Magazine, Missoula Magazine and People Magazine.

Area residents may recognize her from her time as an employee at Reynold's Market, the Cottonwood Inn & Suites, as a substitute teacher for Irle School and in Hinsdale, or at the Fort Peck Fish Hatchery as a creel surveyor.

In her off time, she enjoys wildlife, nature and landscape photography, saying it is an "avid pursuit."

She is the mother of McKenna Johnson, who currently serves as Executive Assistant for The Courier.

In her new position, Johnson will focus on creating targeted advertising for area businesses in coordination with special sections, and will actively seek sponsors for items such as the bowling and cribbage scores regularly found in the sports section.
