There were 27 motor vehicle stops, 18 animal control calls, nine accidental dials/prank calls, nine assist citizen/public assists, five hazards, three reports for record, two dog/cat control calls, two alarms, and two civil complaints/issues.

Monday, Aug. 23

• 1348 – A man would like to speak to somebody about the return of stolen tools. He state several years ago another man stole approximately $20,000 worth of tools. A deputy notified he will speak with the man.

• 1544 – A man reported he's working at a job site. Another man entered the house and started cussing them out for no reason. The man who entered was also yelling at him to go to Mexico. The RP said the house doesn't belong to the cussing man. He said there was another issue with this man about 4-5 months ago that was reported. There's been several other incidents that they didn't report.

• 1603 – A card was started at an deputy's request. He advised that man reported to him that he had some stuff stolen out of his garage. The deputy said this would actually be in the city limits. He will call the man back. The deputy spoke with the man and the theft occurred at his house in Glasgow.

Tuesday, August 24

• 1427 – A woman received a call from an out-of-state number where the subject stated that her SSN had been hacked. They told her they were with a police department. She told them this was a scam and they hung up on her. She did not give them any information.

• 1613 – A woman reported there was a little boy riding his bike on the road on the north side of the railroad tracks by Tire Rama. She's afraid someone will hit him.

1622 – A woman reported she was at the First Community Bank drive-thru. A vehicle backed into her and took off. The caller is not injured. An officer advised the other driver didn't realize there was an actual accident. She just thought her car was beeping because she got close. The officer will put them in contact with each other. It's a private property accident.

Wednesday, August 25

• 0819 – A man reported a semi-tailgating him from Wolf Point to Glasgow between 0300 and 0345. He stated during most of the drive the semi was 15-20 feet behind him and when he came up the hill just east of Glasgow it was only 3-5 feet behind him. He stated he braked the semi three times but the semi remained right behind him. He wanted to make a deputy aware of the incident.

• 0920 – An officer requested extra patrol where they are working on the highway. He stated there are people driving at a high rate of speed and not being mindful of the workers.

• 1654 – A man called in stating he has a small fire in a slew. It is very smokey but it can't go anywhere. He has a disc and is going around it and he also has a water truck en route. He doesn't want the fire department as he believes they are not needed at this time. 1744 – He called in and advised the fire is out.

• 1812 – A female who wished to remain anonymous called in stating there is a 14-15 year old male riding a dirt bike up and down 1st Ave S. very fast. He is wearing a helmet but she doesn't believe he is old enough for a license and he is going too fast. An officer advised he spoke with the boy and mother about this and advised he didn't think it was this boy as his bike is cold and there are a lot of things around the bike.

2008 – A male called sating that at 0300 to 0345 there was a semi that was five feet off his bumper the whole way from Glasgow to Wolf Point. He states he has pictures of the trcuk and trailer. He is willing to sign a complaint.

Thursday, August 26

• 1216 – A woman called in stating there is an oversized farm equipment vehicle with flagger vehicles front and back. She states it is hitting reflector posts and they are in the road. She just ran over one. A deputy patrolled, no posts in the road, none that are knocked over either.

• 1417 – A deputy requested a card started from scams. A woman got an email stating she was watching too much porn. If she didn't want to get into trouble she needed to pay them $1,650 in bitcoin.

• 2050 – A woman said she lost her purse and her phone about an hour ago. She said she called her phone and a man answered it. Patched her up with an officer.

Friday, August 27

• 1201 – A man called in stating he just witnessed an athletic cruiser hit his storage shed. He states that the shed was moved off its foundation and broke the trim on the corner of it.

• 1212 – A man called in stating he has been getting calls about the federal government wanting to arrest him. Advised him this is scam.

• 1225 – A man advised there is a vehicle that has been sitting for about 7-10 days now. He believes it is abandoned. A deputy advised this vehicle belongs to a BNSF employee as there are many BNSF items in the vehicle. The deputy talked with the man. He is fine with it being there for now.

• 1342 – A man called in stating his neighbor is harassing him about his yard again. He is tired of it and would like an officer to come talk to the neighbor so he will leave the caller alone.

• 1454 – Received a 911 call. Called back and spoke to a woman who said they already got a deputy for a male who was swerving all over the road. A deputy then came across the radio to advise further on this call. The deputy advised that a woman reported to her that a vehicle tried to run them off the raod. The deputy is trying to catch up to the vehicle. Advised the RP left without giving a statement because she had to get on the road. A woman advised that the suspect vehicle followed them from Wolf Point. She had a child with her at the time. She said the suspect was swerving and driving slow so they passed him. The suspect then started playing chicken with them and tried to run her off the road. She pulled off the road to get away from him and he followed her there. When she saw the deputy she informed her of what was going on.

• 1508 – A man called in advising he was behind a vehicle pulling a trailer with a bunch of white stuff on it. One of the wheels fell off the trailer and it kept going. He is no longer behind this vehicle as he is afraid it would lose control of the trailer.

• 2204 – A deputy is out with an intoxicated individual walking. Driver was picked up by another driver.

• 2251 – Overheard MHP pursuing vehicle. 2313 – Advised a deputy that they stopped the vehicle and the driver is in custody. Per the deputy, disabled vehicle ½ mile east of them. Hit spike strips. A woman called to report this. She said vehicles flew by her and they had something on the road and didn't have any lights on the vehicles and she hit whatever was in the road and now she has two flat tires.

• 2312 – A caller reported a single gunshot from the area around Nemont or just out of town.
