The Mill Grinds Down Irving Law to Win John Hahn

After two days of intense competition under the hot Fort Peck sun, The Mill/A3 came out on top of the annual 54th John Hahn Memorial Men's Softball Tournament. The win marked the fifth straight tournament title for the Billings team.

The Mill defeated Irving Law in the title bout by a 16-1 margin in four innings. Irving law defeated State Farm by a score of 11-5 to earn their chance at unseating The Mill. However, the local team could not muster the offensive strength to outdo The Mill's batting prowess.

The Mill's OShon OldMouse was named tournament Offensive MVP and Ronnie Anderson was honored with the Defensive MVP title. Blake Barthuly, also of The Mill, earned the Home Run Derby Champion trophy.

The $1,000 cash prize and trophies were awarded after 14 games were played over Saturday and Sunday on John Hahn field in Fort Peck. In total, the eight competing teams played eight games on Saturday and six on Sunday.
