COURIER PHOTO BY CHRIS McDANIEL Temperatures in Downtown Glasgow last week climbed to 106 degrees Fahrenheit, with high heat spanning through the 4th of July, resulting in the cancellation of fireworks due to extreme fire risk.

It is time to break out the shorts and iced tea, with triple digit temperatures possible throughout July.
