911 Calls May 21 to May 30, 2021

There were 21 motor vehicle stops, two barking/lost/loose cat/dog calls, eight loose/dead livestock calls, three VIN inspection requests, three alarm calls and three public assists.

FRIDAY, MAY 21

• 1657 – Caller received an automated call that he believes was a scam. The message said there was some illegal activity involving his social security number. He didn't give them any information. Dispatch advised him this is a scam.

• 1713 – A deputy found a motorhome parked. The deputy advised the motorhome is locked up and he didn't see anything suspicious. Dispatch called the registered owner who stated the motor home had broken down. Her brother spoke to the farmer there and was told that it would be okay to park it there. She said they will try to get it moved on Saturday if they are able.

2104 – Caller reported that a vehicle backed into her in the McDonald's drive-thru.

SATURDAY, MAY 22

• 0128 – An officer was out with a person on a park bench by a smoking area who looks almost passed out. Per the officer, everything is 10-4, just waiting on a ride for a few individuals. Subjects are walking to the Oasis. The officer is back out with two individuals, one still vomiting. They did not go to the Oasis. Per the officer, dropped them at the ER. They are sitting outside waiting for someone who works there to take them home. At 0201 a 20 minute deprivation time was started. One adult female in custody.

• 0508 – Interstate reported a fire alarm. They called back and said the store manager would be there to meet someone. Dispatch called the store manager who said there is no fire, just the cooks smoking up the place. No need for anyone to respond.

• 1529 – A store employee called about a vehicle that has been parked in the parking lot since around 2000 last night.

• 1653 – Female called in about kids on dirt bikes riding around at the end of 6th Ave N. She states she can see two on bikes and about three others. Not sure of how many more are in the coulee. She is concerned about them rearing around back there and it being dry. Dispatch asked if they were in an area they were allowed to ride and she said no.

• 1928 – Received a call from RCSO dispatch that a vehicle is speeding around Frazer and has run over a dog. A deputy advised they found the vehicle but the female suspect driver could not be found. At 2106, the deputy advised he spoke to RP and a tribal officer was transporting two suspects to Wolf Point.

• 2252 – Out with a couple of vehicles in a field.

• 2316 – Made contact with driver, she was taking a nap. Advised her to move vehicle farther off the road.

SUNDAY, MAY 23

• 0218 – Per an officer, individual wandering around,

possibly waiting for LE to go so he can drive. An individual came by and he asked is she could give him a ride home. She did.

• 0515 – Female hit a deer. It was still in the middle of the road, her car has severe damage. The reporting party was shook up but didn't want an ambulance. They will go to the doctor later and get her checked out.

Monday, May 24

• 1134 – Caller received a call from a 406 area code from a recording claiming to be Border Patrol. When she pressed because they stated they seized a package with her name on it with drugs and if she didn't want a case against her, she needed to press one. She did so and a foreign speaking male asker her for information of who she was. She hung up and the person called her right back and had her name and date of birth. He was aggressive in nature with her, telling her she needed not to speak until he was finished and tried to sound authoritative. He gave her credentials. The caller states it sounded as if he was in a call center as she could hear many people speaking in the background.

• 2005 – Caller requested an officer. She reported that a male hit another at the bar. She believes the bartender kicked the aggressor out so she doesn't know if he's still around. An officer asked if there was a deputy available to assist with this. He said the male might be headed to the farm.

Tuesday, May 25

• 0556 – A deputy hit the front of his patrol vehicle with the tail swing of the transport bus when leaving with the inmates.

• 0745 – Caller reported her vehicle was rear ended on Highway 2. She reported there are no injuries and the vehicles are off the side of the road as not to impede traffic. One cite for following too close.

• 1356 – Deputies advised they would be out assisting Tribal with a traffic stop.

• 2055 – Caller requested a deputy to meet them. She said a vehicle almost ran them off the Bentonite Road. She said they followed the vehicle to the Powell Reservoir and got a picture of the plate. She then advised that the vehicle is now following them. Dispatch patcher her up with a deputy.

Wednesday, May 26

• 0144 – Male RP called and said an individual was at his grandmother's house, and she is not supposed to be there. He said there is a restraining order against her. A deputy was notified who requested RCSO be notified. They will send a Tribal officer. A deputy advised he has the individual detained in the back of his vehicle. The deputy advised Tribal has one female in custody.

• 1449 – A female called in advising there is a vehicle northbound on Highway 24N that has been swerving and has crossed the center line a few times and has almost hit people. Caller advised she would rather not sign a complaint. A deputy was unable to locate.

• 1548 – The caller reported that there's a semi stuck at the underpass. A second person called to report the same.

Thursday, May 27

• 1334 – A male called in stating he got a scam call. They said they were with the social security office and they were going to put out a warrant for his arrest. He hung up on them and didn't give them any of his personal information.

• 1359 – Caller reported she got a call from someone stating the social security office was going to put out a warrant for her arrest. She hung up on them. She didn't give out any of her personal information.

• 1630 – A warrant was served.

• 1905 – Caller said she moved here a couple of months ago. The movers are there and refusing to unload unless she pays $650 up front. She said the changed the contract on her and are threatening to leave. Dispatch asked her to call back on the non-emergency number so they weren't tying up 911. She called back and was patched up with a deputy.

Friday, May 28

• 1225 – A deputy advised he would be en route to the fairgrounds for a trespassing call. He advised the individual has been advised she has to move and he is going to help her out with that.

• 1445 – An assault was reported.

• 1504 – Suspicious activity was reported.

• 1509 – The caller reported that there's a couple of intoxicated men from Saco parked at Stoughie's. One is sitting in the vehicle. An deputy made contact with the driver. The person in the driver's seat didn't have keys, he was just waiting. The other two were inside. They called a wife to pick them up. A deputy advised that a male will be giving them a ride home.

• 2136 – A deputy was out with an adult male on a bicycle.

• 2306 – Caller reporting his friend hit a deer. No injury, deer is off the road. Per a deputy, car is off the road and not a hazard. Thompson and Sons is out of service until Tuesday. She has the keys and will drop them off. Deer is on south side of the road. Local MDT office notified.

Saturday, May 29

• 0128 – Per an officer, out behind a bar with a couple. Female just pushed male to the ground.

• 0908 – Caller wanted an officer to come to her residence because when she got home she noticed the back window of her suburban was broken. She also stated her dog is locked in her truck when she got out.

• 0930 – BNSF police called in a vehicle that is parked on the BNSF right of way.

• 1709 – Female initially called in on the 911 line, she asked for the non-emergent number. She called back on that and reported two high school aged kids on two 4 wheelers that came "ripping" through her slew area. They were very close to the pond where their well head is. She stated they didn't damage it but she told them not to be riding through there anymore without permission. She stated they got smart with her, they drove off. She also stated the 4 wheelers are not licensed so she believes they are not street legal and they were driving them on the road. A deputy advised he spoke with the RP, shoe doesn't want charges or citations issued, but would like them talked to. The deputy advised they are UTL these 4 wheelers.

Sunday, May 30

• 0247 – Caller reported a vehicle swerving heading out of town toward Fort Peck. Caller didn't want to give his name or sign a complaint. Per the deputy, UTL from the dam to HWY 2 on HWY 24.
