FMDH to Host Drive-Up Movie
In Celebratin of Hospital week
In celebration of Hospital Week, FMDH will be hosting a drive-up movie with Valley Cinema popcorn and water provided while supplies last.
The movie, “The Croods: A New Age,” will be screened at 7 p.m. Friday at the Valley Event Center Parking Lot.

Dept. Awards Tourism Grants
City of Glasgow to receive $16,833
The Montana Department of Commerce has announced $750,000 in Tourism Grant Award funding to strengthen local economies in 26 communities by enhancing tourism and recreation assets.
The awards will serve 35 tourism and recreation projects across Montana, including unincorporated small towns, rural communities and areas of known attractions to non-resident visitors.
City of Glasgow will receive $16,833 for phase 3 of Glasgow’s wayfinding project. The grant will be used to design and install four roadway signs and two informational kiosks.
Matching funds for the grant are provided by Two Rivers Economic Growth, The Glasgow Area Chamber and Glasgow Tourism Business Infrastructure Development. The total project cost is $28,542 and is expected to be completed by December 2021.
“Montana boasts world-class tourism and recreation destinations in every corner of our state,” Commerce Director Scott Osterman said. “These funds will facilitate development of tourism and recreation assets, supporting good-paying jobs in communities across Montana.”
The Tourism Grant Program at the Montana Department of Commerce awards funding annually to projects that strengthen Montana’s economy through the development and enhancement of the state’s tourism and recreation industry. Eligible entities based in Montana that may apply for a tourism grant include city and county entities, non-profit organizations and tribal entities.

Conducting Survey Through May 24
The Glasgow City-County Library is conducting a survey from May 4 through May 24.
“It just takes four minutes to complete,” said Madelyn House. “This is important feedback to let us know how we are doing and how we can continue to better serve the community.
