Community Cash Loans Now Available

Since Oct. 15, community cash applications became available to apply for at First Community Bank, Hinsdale, First Community Bank Glasgow, Bank of Glasgow and Independence Bank, Glasgow, providing the opportunity to borrow up to $1,000.

Community cash can be used in the same manner as cash at participating businesses including 5th Ave. Pharmacy, Baker’s Jewelry, Border Plains Equipment, D&G Sports and Western, Eugene’s Pizza, Glasgow Flower & Gift, Jennifer Ray Photography, Mon Dak Marine, Pehlke’s Furniture, Red Barn Gifts, Subway, Western Drug and many more businesses throughout the community.

To apply, fill out a loan application at one of the four participating financial institutions. When your loan is approved, you will receive special Community Cash script which you can spend in any of the participating Community Cash businesses. The loan is payable in 10 monthly installments. You pay no interest, only a $10 fee to cover a portion of the paperwork. The script then can be used until Dec. 31, and you have until Jan. 5, to turn in your unused script to the bank for full credit.

The last day to apply for Community Cash is Dec. 30. The business much be a paid Chamber member to accept a Community Cash script.
